These boots are the best money can buy! Both of my son's are doing their apprenticeships in bricklaying and were in desperate need of new boots, they have both purchased a variety of cheap kmart nasties and higher range $300+ from the safety shop and have not had good experiences. They complain of the weight but most of all how uncomfortable they are. I seen these online and read some reviews and loved the idea of the air pockets so thought I'd surprise them both with a new pair for new year. They were so excited when they opened the box and seen them and even more so when they tried them on. Two weeks in I checked in on them and asked how they were liking their new boots and they both said "they are awesome, it doesn't even feel like your wearing work boots" when ... MoreThese boots are the best money can buy! These boots arrived promptly. My husband wore them the next day and would normally change his boots back to his old ones after a couple of hours as he breaks in the new boots. He didn’t need ho with these. He wore them all day and the next day said his feet were a little sore but nothing a good pair of socks wouldn’t help with. All in all he has said that they’re very comfortable work boots. Will update in 6 months as it’s usually how long a pair of work boots last him. The air sole was a bit strange at first he said. Felt like you were pushing forward a bit but he quickly adapted and said that they’re extremely comfortable. He does a lot of walking in his job so he needs comfortable well made boots and these certainly look like they are.

Im writing to let you know how disappointed i am in your bad flight workshoes. I was really excited to order these however when they arrived i was shocked with how poor quality there are. Firstly i couldnt undo the zip on both the boots. They were jammed shut on both shoes and i still cant open them. I gave them the benefit of the doubt after i managed to squeeze them on. I lasted one day in work with them. The steel toe cap is very low in the boot and rubs along the top of the toes all day. Aside from this the bubble in the back has little air in it so the boot basically sits on the floor as the air doesnt support the boot. I wore them for one day and safe to say i wont be wearing them sgain. Wrote an email to customer service who replied with a lack of customer ... MoreIm writing to let you know how disappointed i am in your bad flight workshoes. These boots (were made for walkin') were recommended to me by a fellow workmate. I suffer with mild arthritis in the knees and slight achilles tendonitis. I have tried various safety boots with no result of regaining ease of movement. As soon as I put the BAD boots on it was if I had been wearing them for years, the comfort was immediate, I have worn them around the house for a couple of days but I found the need to "wear them in" wasn't really necessary because they felt like an old friend. You can feel the spring in the heel when you walk that creates a cushioning effect when you walk, Australian made is a plus as well. I don't know how they do it for the price, I bought a pair of DeWalt jogger type safety shoes for $170 and they are no where near as comfortable ... MoreThese boots (were made for walkin') were recommended to me by a fellow workmate. I don't know how they do it for the price, I bought a pair of DeWalt jogger type safety shoes for $170 and they are no where near as comfortable as the BAD ones. I am going to recommend these to all my friends on my Facebook page as I think they are the best, so much so I am thinking of buying another pair just for walking my dogs.
The fit around my foot in these is pretty good - I really like the arch support and the bouncy soles. It would be great if there was a true women's version with lower ankles as that is were most of the discomfort in shoes comes from for me, and I think for women in general as our ankle length is anatomically different to men's.Sadly the area where the boot meets the lining started fraying on the 3rd wear, and most of that wear was just from regular activity such as walking to catch public transport and going to class, not out in the field. After a few more wears I have noticed that the laces are starting to tear through the eyelets also.I am still wearing these a few weeks on as I don't live anywhere near a store to take them back, and they are now broken in and ... MoreThe fit around my foot in these is pretty good - I really like the arch support and the bouncy soles. I need to take them back because there is a good chance the laces will pull through at some point when it is least convenient, but I need boots safety boots in the mean time and they are pretty comfy while they are still holding together. It's a bit of a dilemma because I really don't want to break another pair in, but I also don't want to have broken boots.
I bought these going off the multiple good reviews they had, I figured they're cheaper then the standard steel blue boots I buy so I'll give them a go. Unfortunately iv wasted my money. Firstly I almost slipped over in them multiple times, as soon as they had a bit of moisture under the boot they were slippery as. They're also just not comfortable. Sure the heel has some cushion due to the air pocket, but the sole above that is rock hard in order to make the shoe rigid. And the inner sole didn't have enough cushioning to combat the hardness. I found my feet killing me after only half a day of wearing them. I tried multiple different inner soles to help solve this with no luck. Unfortunately, I simply can't recommend these boots. I'd rather pay over double the amount for the steel blues. I don't know if it's possible to return them as the inner sole I replaced has gone missing, and because I had to wear them for 2 weeks in order that I could give genuine feedback. So bad workwear, if you'd accept a return on the boots, you'll regain a bit of confidence from me, in your brand.
My experience with BAD from order to receiving boots was quick, easy and without hassles. Firstly I would like to say the these boots look great, feel greet and are super comfortable on foot. Easy on and off with side zips and toe caps for protection. The downside leading to my 1 Star Rating is based on the following. I have worn these for a week now before writing a review and they have been great until worn in wet environment a or rain. The soles are super slippery and on any shiny surface such as tile, pavers, coping, painted surfaces etc that are wet, these are a death trap waiting to happen. Super slippery under foot and huge risk to the wearer. I have a pair of Mack Work Boots that are great under wet conditions and never lose grip. Super slippery under foot and huge risk to the wearer. I have a pair of Mack Work Boots that are great under wet conditions and never lose grip. Unfortunately in my line of work wear water around me is a daily routine, these are not the work boots to wear. If you do, you run the risk of a potential serious injury. I hope BAD that you read this and take it under advisement. If the souls were non slip, then you'd have a great boot. I know you tobably won't take a return of this product after they have been worn, but I think it should be the case in this situation where my safety on my work sites or in general wet conditions has been jeopardised by a boot called : BAD FLIGHT™ ZIP SIDE SAFETY WORK BOOTS
As someone who has a job requiring me to be on my feet 8 hours a day these boots are a God send. I replaced my $230 puma boots with a pair of these and couldn't be happier. They are fairly light weight, have plenty of support and great cushioning. They also seem fairly well made and are a good looking boot too. They have also eliminated my lower back pain which turns out was being caused by my old boots. They are a little more slippery in the wet compared to other boots. But over all you can't go wrong. I'll be recommending these to everyone. My next boots will be from BAD!
Been wearing the boots now for a week. Bloody perfect! As an older bloke at 58, I slipped a higher arch support into them as my feet aren't what they used to be which makes them probably the most comfortable pair of boots I think I have ever owned! and I've tried the lot in search of a boot that doesn't leave me with arching feet at the end of the day!! They look the goods too! had a few comments already! The misso likes the way they make me over 6ft now! haha!Got 2 pairs of the short shorts too and THEY ARE UNREAL!! super comfortable and lots of practical pockets that you can actually get stuff in and out easily. I prefer the shorter leg as it makes for getting up and down ladders, trestles, saw stools etc heaps easier as well as cooler in the QLD heat!! Again, ... MoreBeen wearing the boots now for a week. Over all happy with the boots. As a 1 for 1 comparison with another pair of boots I bought the week earlier. At $150 above these boots. I average 18,000steps every day. Here is my review comparison BAD vs STEEL BLUE:Steel Blue-658 $240 - had to replace the inner soul with a work boot specific one, as heal strike was seriously uncomfortable, high fatigue rate (sore feet when moving, and when standing) even with the better inner soul. when driving with them, heal will go numb/ pins and needles, lots of walking still get heal blisters, with thick bamboo socks. (2 month total use, now only use them around the house)BAD Flight $99 - still using the supplied inner soul (will change it for a better comparison), heal strike is vastly better, and fore foot curved outer ... MoreOver all happy with the boots. (understanding most feet arent identical) only inner soul seems to be cut incorrectly as it doesnt form to the boot as well as the same spot on the other side. lower fatigue rate, no heal issues when driving etc. over all for $99 you cant realistically ask for more.
