Easy and convenient frozen spinach. I have purchased this product many times previously and was more than happy to receive a free packet. Itās so easy to defrost, remove excess water and use in dishes or just pop the frozen portions straight into a dish. We have used them in quiches, pasta dishes, curries and have never been disappointed. Itās super easy to incorporate a little more veg into a meal with these and the price is great.

Convenient. I like that this package is small and doesnāt take up too much room in the freezer. The small portions are handy and you donāt need to use it all at once. The price was affordable. Taste wise, there was a strong spinach flavour and the texture was good. A lot of water when defrosting but to be expected. I used these for making pinwheels but after using fresh silverbeet, I donāt know if Iāll go back. I was disappointed that the spinach came from the Netherlands. Surely thereās Australian suppliers?

Excellent product. This was found easily in the freezer section. Is the only option available at my store 95c (low price freeze) for 250g or $3. 80/kgComes packaged in a bag. Is nicely designed and easy to read I defrosted it to add to a frittata. I defrosted and drained it as I didn't want the excess water to dilute the flavour It mixed in well, kept it's colour and added a lot of flavour to my dish Ingredients:Big tick that it is 100% veg Nutritional information: Where it's made:Not excited by the multiple origins Recycling information:Hopefully again in the future This was not a sampleI really liked this product and would repurchase

Perfect portions. Frozen Spinach Portions... itās the only way to go!For anyone who regularly uses frozen spinach you know that the spinach portions are much easier to use than the large blocks of spinach. Iām a regular buyer of spinach portions so I thought I would give this one a try. I must say Iām quite impressed. The regular brand that Iām used to buying has large round portions and when you defrost the spinach, it is still in long pieces and often is quite stringy as you squeeze the moisture out. These spinach portions on the other hand, are very finely chopped and therefore once squeezed provide perfect little flecks of spinach in your cooking. I was really impressed by these portions, allbeit they are slightly smaller than the portions Iām used to so perhaps ...Ā MorePerfect portions. Great to have in the freezer. I used the spinach to make some savoury muffins which were delicious and so easy to make with this spinach. Iāll definitely be making the switch to this brand because the quality is great and the price is unbelievable. Well worth it.
Very easy to use and super convenient. I love using these to add to recipes to increase their vegetable content - especially with scrambled eggs, risottos and meat sauces. They are so convenient to have on hand and such good value as well. The spinach pieces are cut very finely which is perfect for using in the dishes I mentioned above, however is probably too fine for just eating on its own. For improvement, it would be great if Woolworths could source some Australian spinach instead of importing it from other countries. I for one would be happy to pay more if it meant supporting Australian farmers.
Bargain buy by Bellās Farm. I have purchased this frozen spinach on many an occasion not realising that Bellās Farm was a Woolworths brand! So I have only thought to do a review now. Found in the freezer section with other frozen vegetables, I have chosen fo purchase this spinach as it is much cheaper than the other brand options. (95 cents for 250g). The plastic packaging is appealing with its green colour scheme and simple image of a bowl of chopped spinach. The instructions for cooking this spinach are pretty straight forward cooking in the microwave for 4-6 mins with a tiny bit of water. I like that the spinach is in cubes so it is easy to portion out how much you need. The spinach does get very soft and mushy once defrosted and cooked. I like that the spinach is in cubes so it is easy to portion out how much you need. The spinach does get very soft and mushy once defrosted and cooked. Depending on how you wish to use it, it is recommended to drain off as much of the liquid as possible, which isnāt always the easiest thing to do and I usually lose a bit of the spinach down the sink. Previously I have used this spinach when I have made spinach and ricotta filled puff pastry scrolls and spinach and pine nuts triangles. This time I added it to beef mince to make a lasagna meat sauce. Personally I have no problem with this product as the spinach is exactly how I imagine it to be. Tastes as it should. Is more chopped up and mushy than if you cooked your own spinach leaves. But if you wanted intact pieces you would buy fresh spinach leaves. This is perfect for any recipe calling for spinach to be mixed into something. Packed in the Netherlands from multiple origins doesnāt really tell you much. I assumed it was grown in the Netherlands but realise this is probably not the case. The plastic bag that the spinach comes in is recyclable ā»ļøā 5 āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø health rating ā Almost 2 year best before date ā Costs only 95 cents for 250g ā Will continue to purchase this frozen spinach in the future āļø
Wholesome and Handy. I really love the ease and convenience of frozen vegetables and this spinach is both wholesome and handy. I used to buy another brand which was more expensive but so glad I came across this one recently which is much cheaper and actually better quality spinach. This is now my new go to for frozen spinach. Like most frozen veggies it's snapped frozen to lock in all the goodness and nutrients. It comes in individual little cubes so you can easily pick how many you want. I really love this as my previous brand all stuck together but not this one so a big tick from me on this I love adding 4-5 cubes of the frozen spinach to many dishes such as casseroles, soups and my tasty Minestrone. Last night's dinner.... yum!It has clear cooking instructions on the back and the bag can be taken back to the store for recycling ā The fact that it's "packed in the Netherlands from multiple origins" I'm not fussed over as it tastes delicious and is great value at 95 cents a pack. Get some extra goodness in your diet to build up those muscles just like Popeye!
Handy Frozen Spinach Pack. Always handy having a packet or two of frozen spinach in freezer. Great for many dishes. You really miss it being on hand til you can't buy it in the shops easily - which I have found lately. Obviously I have taken frozen spinach availability for granted in the past :-) I will make sure I buy a couple of packs next time I see it. It made the most delicious spinach filo pie last time I had it. I love it.
Good. But there's always room for improvement. I used to have these all the time before I realised that kale was available, which offers more nutrition/calcium, and isn't as high in oxalates (which can cause kidney stones in high doses). These cubes (and every other frozen vegetable available) are so much more convenient, not to mention space-saving and involve a lot less food waste in my opinion. I love them. My one complaint, however, and this goes for the frozen kale as well, is that they need to be cooked before consumption. If I could purchase leafy greens in frozen form that I could just chuck in a blender and have as a smoothie without the need to cook first, I would be eternally grateful. Yes, I know I can buy fresh, but I am BUSY and I don't have the time to wash and chop everything up, especially with a family of 4 and an already-full fridge, not to mention the number of trips I already do to the shops for fresh stuff. Yes, I've already been told I overthink things.
Freezer staple - great product. This is a fantastic product at only $0. 95 for 250gms frozen spinach. I keep a few packets in the freezer as they're great to have on hand. The spinach is in small portions within the bag which is handy for when you don't need a large amount. Great flavour and additional nutrients to add to your cooking - quiches, casseroles, curries, dips, soups. Very versatile. It can be a little watery when defrosting so suggest to wring/squeeze out any excess liquid before adding to cooking. I will definitely continue to purchase this product, it can't be beaten on value, flavour and convenience.
