I like the size and weight, which makes for ease of use; however, the plastic finger guide I find awkward to use. Would prefer if guide was metal. When I was slicing a vegetable, a couple of the prongs got sliced off.

So far the best mandolin we've had. Feels like a quality product. Like the infinite adjustability. Hooks onto a bowl well and has a nice grippy silicone piece if you're holding it on a cutting board.
I am so glad I bought the Super Benriner Mandoline. It easily fits and slices large tomatoes, potatoes, squash, etc. The blade adjustment is easy, as well.

I was debating whether to get the standard/narrower width of mandoline (not sold on SLT, but on other sites) over the 'super', but after seeing it in person, I decided the super was the way to go. It can accommodate larger veggies like fennel and potatoes, as well as larger citrus like oranges & apples. It's had heavy use already in the short time I've had it, from whizzing through cucumbers and Fresno chiles for pickling, to radishes, carrots and apples for salads--this thing is genius. I have used several and this is by far the best one, with a very reasonable price point, too! Immediately after the first use I purchased two more as gifts and told the recipients to throw away their old mandoline. I have to add that regardless of the safety guard on these things you absolutely must wear a pair of blade-resistant gloves - I speak from experience. I highly recommend NoCry Cut Resistant Gloves as I included them with my mandoline gifts. Purchase this and you won't regret it!.
This is the cheapest price for this size and it comes with the finger guard. I ordered in store for free shipping and used a coupon. I cut my fingers on the old style lil green one so I should be good with this one and it handles whole eggplant. I was so glad to splurge on a kitchen gadgets that I've wanted for a long time.
So fast!! We've used this a couple times already for slicing partially thawed meat for hot pot. It is certainly very sharp (I sliced off part of my thumb on accident using this on carrots), but I should have been more careful anyways. So far quite sturdy and easy to clean.
