This would be one of the best slicers I have used. I love how secure I feel using the finger guard, it feels like it really holds the vegetable in place. The fact it comes with the box underneath it to collect the vegetables is also a bonus, not just for the slicing but also to keep the extra blades and finger guard when not in use.

I have made the best potato gratin using this slicer, so happy with my purchase. We will get plenty of use out of this in our kitchen

This is working well. Made z lovely borscht soup using it to grate carrot Beetroot and cabbage. I'm sure it will get s lot of use.
Exactly as expected - very sharp and needs caution. Have used these slicers for years but wanted one with catcher tray.Have seen them used on Masterchef. Hoping they make a larger size soon.
This is an excellent slicer. Beware, though, as it is extremely sharp (as I quickly found out), so I advise using the finger guard at all times. But truly a great product.
Very disappointed with this product. The finger guard mangles the vegetables to the point where the guard won't grasp them and you have to proceed without it anyway. The blades aren't sharp enough to handle harder veges like carrots. Good for cabbage etc but the lovely juliennes shown in the advertising could not have been made with this slicer. THe catch basket is textured inside so you can grate ginger etc... which is fine until you want to scrape your veges out of it and find yourself running your hands over a grater to clean the basket. Annoyed I spent the money now.
