I regularly use the jerk shad soft plastic, but have not used the Berkley brand before. They seem to swim great and look forward to my first catch with them.

Hands down best soft plastic for catching Snapper and occasional Kings. Expensive, do dry out quick and do tear easily BUT they actually work. Do your self a favour buy the Bulk container of jerk shads and fill the container up with Yakka Snaks! Just google Jeff "Scratchie" Thompson podcast about catching Snapper. Use a 5/0 1/4 oz TT Jig heads.

I use these gulp saltwater jerk shad for fun drop shot fishing off Southern California coast. What i love is it seems to fish best deadsticked so i can effectively fish two rods at a time and when bite is on it keeps me very busy.I like to use a lockspring on a octopus style hook so that bait lasts alot longer and has more natural action. The cool thing about gulp baits is fish will go in for a quick taste an then usually comeback an wallop it and get the hook.Very effective!
Very happy with this product. This was the first time I used these and I wish I had done so earlier.
Fish eat these even when they aren’t moving! Always take bulk packets out the reefs
The burkley 7inch jerk shads are very brittle and easily chewed to pieces by small fish. Wouldn’t recommend
Gulp always good tough and great action Dhu n Snapper luv them
The 7" gulp shad in white or pink shine is my new GO TO soft plastic for mulloway. Off the rocks or in the gutters off the beach. 1 hour either side of the high tide, using a 14g or 21g size 7/0 jig head, depending on the current, let the plastic flutter down to the bottom, the mulloway will take the plastic gently, so be sure to have your drag set correctly to enable you to set the hook when you feel the weight on the line....
Works well. Lots of choices when shopping. Ok for price
