These are perfect for my use: as a voiceover artist I've used Beyer DT250s for years but now that more sessions are being directed over Skype or WhatsApp I got these so that I could use an ear bud in one ear comfortably, and still monitor my recording in the other. Perfect! Great build quality, as ever, and they do what they were designed to do. Can't ask for more, and the price at Gak.co.uk was amazing!
They are light and comfortable and enable me to hear my instrument live whilst recording to reference/click tracks. I was advised t get the DT152s but I thought I'd upgrade. Through my old MOTU 8pre interface they are much quieter than Sennheiser HD 280 Pros (64 ohm) and need an additional headphone amp. This might seem a stupid comment to experienced users but as an amateur home recordist I struggled to find any help on choosing between 16 ohm or 400 ohm on the DT152s. As these were close to what I had at 80 ohm I thought I'd go 'middle for diddle'. Very pleased.
