Bialetti Venus Stovetop, 2 Cup (Copper)
Stainless steel mocha kettle Bialetti Venus 2 has a volume of about 90 ml and is suitable for 2 espresso cups. It is an excellent companion for long trips outside the kitchen, but it will also be great for making coffee at home. Unlike classic aluminum Bialetti, the Venus series is made of high quality stainless steel. Together with its design and functionality, this kettle ranks among the best on the market. * Bialetti Venus 2 is not suitable for an induction hob (due to its small diameter, induction hobs do not register it) How to prepare coffee in a mocha kettle? The mocha kettle consists of 3 parts. Upper containers, lower containers and sieves in the middle. The lower container is for water. Before cooking, heat it in a kettle (eg Brewista 1.2 l kettle). Then insert a metal sieve into the lower container, into which you pour finely ground coffee (select coffee for the mocha kettle). Screw on the upper pan and place on the hob. As soon as the coffee starts to hiss, remove the kettle from the hob and pour the coffee into the prepared cup. Bialetti Venus is produced in various sizes. In our offer you will find a teapot for 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 cups.

Ive had two of this brand before and they've lasted well, however this is the cream of the crop!! It's not the cheapest but they say you get what you pay for. It's heavy and stylish, gorgeous light rose gold that matches my other kuchen accessories. It dosn't leak when pouring coffee into the cups and to date the bottom half hasn't blackened from the heat of the cooker. I absolutely love it and would highly recommend it to any of my fellow coffee lovers!! Ordering was easy and delivery prompt and well packaged.Thank you!!

Fantastic moka pot. The finish and colour look great. It makes a great tasting coffee. Being stainless steel and cylindrical makes this so much easier to clean than the aluminium hexagonal version. Water also egresses much better after cleaning from the seal and threads, so it shouldn't stain and discolour like the aluminium versions did.

I had two small ones, and purchased this to make a several cups. Copper makes it eye candy just sitting in the benchtop, and of course, it makes great coffee. One problem I have is the knob on the lid being steel. I almost burned my fingers from the steam while unconsciously touched this bit. This part of the lid on a smaller version I have, stems from the handle so it is plastic and thick, conceals the lid well. you wouldn't accidently burn your fingers from the steam coming out of the pot. It looks better from aspect of design too.

On opening the box at first I thought I had been mistakingly sent a Pandora charm. On closer inspection I realised it was, in fact a Moka pot, apparently designed by Hobbits.Despite it's size it makes perfect coffee and is ideal for both breakfast and second breakfast.5/5 stars!
The sleek design and eye-catching colours combine form and function in this beautifully crafted classic, the Venus. Its all steel design is reassuringly solid while remaining both elegant and functional. It prefers a slightly finer grind than my previous aluminium moka, but its results are reliable and enjoyable; everything you want from a stovetop coffee maker. Its contents are sufficient for a large mug for one.
Great colour, not as bright bronze (more subtle) as it looks in the photo which i prefer. The quality is also excellent, is sturdy, well constructed, quality materials used. I love it - super cute. Perfect size for 1-2 people. The bronze part does discolour a bit when heated up (temporary discolouration not permanent) and absorbs finger prints so it doesn't look "sparkling" new after use, like when it came out of the box. Just means you have to wipe it down and take care of it if you want that shiny, pristine look.
I needed to replace my old electric (ceramic) cooktop coffeemaker as it had developed a pinhole leak at the base. I found this site and after a few on-line questions re suitable size (just me) I landed on the Bialetti Venus Moka Pot (2 cup - non -induction). I enquired about the non - induction label and that was explained so i went ahead and made the purchase quite a few months ago.My issue is this coffee maker takes forever to brew... and i mean forever (you could mow a lawn!). On closer examination i have found there is a distinct protruding pronounced ring around the perimeter of the base which prevents the whole base sitting on the ceramic cooktop...... this is why it takes forever. I did explain it was for a ceramic cook-top but IT IS NOT suitable. It will ... MoreI needed to replace my old electric (ceramic) cooktop coffeemaker as it had developed a pinhole leak at the base. It will work with gas.Not all happy. It is well made and looks great but its whole purpose of making a good cup of coffee is lost because of this design flaw for electric cooktops.Wasted significant $$money.
This Moka pot looks nice on my stove, the stain steel is good thickness and it feels strong. It made smooth and sweet coffee, the way I like it. The only thing I would change is the size. It is enough for one person if you like your coffee without any extra water. If you want to share make it strong and add water after pouring.
my way to make cappuccino is to make strong espresso. strong espresso means minimum water maximum coffee (but not too much). before this buy I had 3 cup another brand espresso maker and it made me stronger espresso. they have the same basket size. but the chambers of my newly bought stainless Bialetti are bigger: upper chamber is really big and also lower chamber is lil.bigger too) for the same basket size, this means that I will have watery espresso for my taste. That is not only problem:my hubby likes big cup of espresso for which I put 2tbl spoons of ground coffee but it is still not enough to fill whole his cap when served. So that is why I needed bigger, 3 tbl spoon basket for his big cappuccino.that is why I ordered 4 caps stainless coffeemaker but received ... Moremy way to make cappuccino is to make strong espresso. strong espresso means minimum water maximum coffee (but not too much). before this buy I had 3 cup another brand espresso maker and it made me stronger espresso. they have the same basket size. but the chambers of my newly bought stainless Bialetti are bigger: upper chamber is really big and also lower chamber is lil.bigger too) for the same basket size, this means that I will have watery espresso for my taste. That is not only problem:my hubby likes big cup of espresso for which I put 2tbl spoons of ground coffee but it is still not enough to fill whole his cap when served.
