Biotene Oral Balance Dry Mouth Moisturising Gel 42g

This was my first time using Biotene fluoride toothpaste in fresh mint flavor. But it’s quickly becoming my go to toothpaste. The flavor is refreshing, but not too strong, leaving my mouth feeling clean without any overwhelming minty burn. One of the standout features is it gentle formula, which doesn’t irritate my sensitive mouth. Unlike other toothpaste, it doesn’t leave my mouth feeling dry or uncomfortable after brushing. Instead, it keep my mouth feeling hydrated and fresh throughout the day, which is a huge bonus. 

The Biotene toothpaste is just the right toothpaste for its value. It's gentle on the mouth, not overpowering, has a mint flavor not too heavy, does not irritate my mouth and leaves a gentle feel on the mouth. Great for sensitive teeth. It doesn't leave any after taste and does not make any foam while brushing. However it doesn't provide a refreshing feeling after you're done brushing. You hardly feel any mint flavor that makes me feel that you have brushed your teeth and have some refreshing breath. For me I didn’t find any clean feeling after brushing. Overall,the effectiveness is an easy going toothpaste, I highly recommend this toothpaste especially with the packaging extra secure to avoid paste from spilling out.

Fantastic results

What a relief! Dry mouth from radiation treatments has been a real problem and the mouth rinses weren’t lasting into the night. This stuff lasts me almost all night and when I wake up my mouth is moist enough that I’m not so uncomfortable and worried about my teeth and gums. The effect is immediate and it only takes a little bit 1/2” by instructions. The taste isn’t overpowering or too sweet and the feeling isn’t sticky or gummy. Just so glad to have found this!

My product review

The tube itself, is strong, not flimsy. This is important when you carry it from place to place; in a pocket or bag; or just pick it up, use it, then plop it down. At nite, you take off screw cap (I wish it had an attatched pop lock cap) you know how much will come out with just a light push. You don't even need to open your eyes, **jIt is a clear gel and absorbs quickly. It has a good taste; it is on the sweeter side (I'd like a little less sweetness); It has no alcohol; the Oralbalance is correct as the products dry mouth relief lasts a good while, if you're talking or not. I have sensitive teeth and this gel has been pain free.Now that I know I can use this Brand and product, I will purchase other items. Thank you for a good product.

[Rewarded Review] Best dry mouth product I’ve used

I’ve used Biotene OralBalance Moisterizing Gel for several weeks and it works better for dry mouth than other Biotene products I’ve used (mouthwash). My dry mouth stems from medications. At times I find it hard to talk because my mouth gets so dry. In the past I’ve used special toothpaste, mouthwash, added fish oil to my daily meds and I drink water like a fish! But this moisturizing gel makes a difference!! It has a pleasant, mild flavor and dissolves over a period of time. It can be used multiple times a day as needed. It gave me relief for about 2 hours. The package states it should last 4 hours, but for me, only 2 hours. I would recommend this moisturizing gel for anyone who suffers with dry mouth.

I get dry mouth symptoms from an infection i've had in my mouth. I tried different kinds of drinks. They say lemon can help being so dry & helps fight infections. Helps temporally, bt not long lasting. This Biotène - OralBalance Moisturizing Gel really has some relief. Comes in a small tube. I put a small inch of this oral gel on my tongue & i swish it all around my mouth. It's very moisturizing, soothing, silky feeling. I just tried Biotène - OralBalance Moisturizing Gel for the first time. I use their oral rinse, it is the only other product that I have tried for keeping my mouth moist while I sleep since I sleep with my mouth open. I normally have to do it more than once when it is really bad and usually wake up in the middle of the night. The moisturizing gel works just as good as the rinse. So for me it is perfect when I travel or for the first application to keep my mouth moist at home. You simply take a little out of the tube and put it on your finger then wipe it around your mouth, and that is it. I prefer to use the rinse for when I wake up in the middle of the night but, the gel seems to work better on my gums and tongue. I just wish it would last longer. Unfortunately the directions weren't very clear on how to use this product. I had to "google" it to find out exactly how to use it. You have to put this gel on your tongue and then spread it around - but DON'T swallow it- and leave it there until it dissipates, which is 4 hours. You can't eat or drink during this time, so the best time to use this is before you go to bed. The gel is quite viscous, so it's a little weird putting it on your tongue. It's not flavored but I could taste the fake sugar in it. Would be nice if it did have a flavor, but then I guess folks would want to swallow it? To me, this is something one would use it your dry mouth issue is a serious problem, otherwise it's just too much of a hassle.
