I have a few pets and this has been a life saver many many times!! It is so much easier to grab this and clean just the small area effected instead of pulling out the large carpet cleaner. My first one died and I loved it so much I went that same day and bought another one. I had the first one a few years and it was used a lot because we had puppies and kittens then. I highly recommend this product.

We registered for this gift for our wedding long before we got our dog and it was great for cleaning up small stains from red wine in our apartment. Now that we have a puppy, we use it way more often to clean up his small messes. It gets the job done pretty good but can smell really bad and is a little difficult to clean. The vessels aren’t the easiest to fill up with water but we have improvised and made it work!

I just had to pull this little guy out of the closet because my 90 pound shepherd left the biggest “mess” imaginable on the rug in the kids room, it was just a hot liquid trail of slop. After a roll of paper towels and bleach I went to work with the Bissel and after 10 minutes the water was coming out clear and all signs of the mess were gone. If you have pets this thing is amazing, it’s small and portable and has great suction.

This product is a god send! I love having this awesome machine on hand, especially with having a messy 4 year old son who makes spills. This machine is great for getting into nooks and crannies where there has been a spill. Its light to carry and can go anywhere. Also does an awesome job at leaning vehicle interiors furniture.**This Is based on my own PERSONAL PURCHASE, I was not given this product free from Influenster for reviewing purposes.**
I wish I had bought this sooner. If you have kids or pets, you NEED this spot cleaner. It would have saved me so much stress when my last two elderly cats were constantly sick and also when my dog was a puppy. It’s a game changer for carpet, rugs and upholstery. So far it has removed every stain I’ve tried it on, my sister in law even got me to bring it to her house to take out a few stains from her carpet. It’s so easy to use and just as easy to clean the machine. The latter was a big one for me. If it was going to be a long complicated timeous process, I would never use it. But it’s super simple. It stores away easy too!
This is the fourth small cleaner by Bissell that I've owned, previous ones I wore out from use. They are great. The only problem with this particular one is that you have to empty the dirty water tank too often. It only gets about an inch full then you have to empty it. Very time consuming. All the ones before at least fill was full. The deep crevice took its great. I recommend this.
I've had the 5207 (refurbished unit) form more than 1.5 years. Being in a 2 cat family, some kind of cleaner for "little accidents" is a necessity. My previous cleaner was different makers model, which a thought did an okay job. When it died I went looking for something with a little more power without being too heavy or bulky. The 5207 was wonderful. Things I liked: Long power cord, on-board tool storage keeps the unit compact, it does clean little areas; ref. cat messes, quite nicely ( imho ), both reservoirs held more than enough fluid to handle the messes at hand, and with a little patience will leave carpet with very little liquid left behind. My biggest complaint- the hose was / became very stiff over time and has now cracked open.Things I've learned: 1) If ... MoreI've had the 5207 (refurbished unit) form more than 1.5 years. ( add water in the upper hole by gently opening the rubber stopper and drain (flush). 3) be sure that stopper is fully sealed or you will loose suction. 4) Every so often (monthly for me) remove the nozzle and suck approximately 2-3 cups of hot tap water to flush the whole system and open the lower access to the dirty reservoir and give it a good cleaning. Ref. to directions to be sure to put it back together properly.I am now trying the Little Green Machine to see how long that hose lasts.
The instructions were pretty easy to follow. Loading the product into the machine was a breeze. I tried it on an old carpet stain and it took it right out. I tried both brushes in various other spots and finally figured out which one was best at what. The marks on the chemical tank only provide for a small amount or a large amount of cleaner. I filled it to the top mark but found it was more than I needed. It would be good to have a fill mark somewhere in the middle. The vacuum motor seems to have sufficient power to get the job done. If the machine holds up I will consider it a good investment.
Putting on the attachments such as the cord, hose and extra nozzle holder was so easy. I am 67, not inclined to "putting things together" and I also have arthritis, so when I say this was easy, it truly was. I have a creme sofa and a small dog who leans against the sofa and goes up and down to scratch himself. Over time, this leaves a wide brown strip on the front of the sofa. It isn't pretty to look at. Filling the tank was easy but a drawback is that you have to hold it to fill as the bottom design does not allow that you can set it down. For me, it was more of a problem putting the solutions in than the water as I did spill more that I should have. Using the machine is so simple and the job it did was beautiful!! I had a full size shampooer before, so in comparing the two I find the only difference to be the size of the job you are doing. It should be noted that it did not take me going over and over the same area to get it clean. If you have small jobs, want more portability and size, this is the unit to get. I am so very pleased with this purchase
I run an animal sanctuary and house at least 5 dogs at any one time. This is great to have handy so when little messes come up I don't have to pull out the big Bissell all the time. I have some very senior dogs and they are just like puppies. If you don't watch them they forget that they are house trained. I have a little trick by putting 10 drops of Wintergreen oil in the clean water to help deodorize the spots. I even fostered a baby goat. This machine really helped with that! This will also keep cats from marking as they hate the sent of Wintergreen. What a great machine.
