Awesome pet attachment to keep pet cleaning waste away from the main waste tank. Cleaned old ice block stain from carpet easily, used the pet stain pretreatment on this too.

I’ve found this machine great. It removed a stain off our couch that I had tried several times to remove and first go it was gone. It’s easy to use and clean. My cat vomited the other day so I used the stain trapper tool to clean it up, it was great not having that go through the whole machine. It can be quite time consuming doing a big item (e.g a couch) but worth it for the results. Overall a great item at an affordable price.

Really pleased with the results.Like others have said the length of the hose pipe is a little annoying but only in terms of having to manover the machine closer to reach further etc, totally fine just would be easier and more helpful if it was longer.Easy to set up and use and clean afterwards. Did the car seats and the difference was immense got an old well worn in coffee stain out in seconds.Doing the full car seats did take a couple of tank refills as was years of dust/dirt that I was cleaning up, so I was going on some areas a few times.Machine auto cuts out of sucking when the dirty tank approaches full, at first I thought I'd broken it.The two standard head attachments are quite good ... MoreBrought this after hearing really good things about this range. Does leave the carpet fairly damp - only sucks out about half the amount of liquid as it puts in (even with many vacuum passes). Best to run a dehumidifier in the room afterwards to ensure the carpet dries fully. Have only used it on old, textured woollen carpet - might be easier to use on upholstery or smoother carpet. In terms of getting very very old set-in stains out - I had more success using Vanish OxiAction carpet spray. However the Bissell certainly does produce a tank of black, filthy water - so it's obviously getting something out. I'm still deciding whether or not I wasted money buying this product. After watching the ad for this product I quickly purchased it. When I took it out I followed directions on how to use it thoroughly. I have use it numerous times. Some stains were not as easily removed. Some have had to be gone over 4 to 5 different times. Others spots have been great and other spots may or may not have discoloured the carpet. It is good sometimes. And not as good other times. I can't figure out if I'm using it wrong or if it's not as great as seen on TV. I have purchased 2 different cleaning products as add ons also but can't tell if that makes a difference. I personally think I had my expectations way to high.
It does what it's intended to do but you could do better with a steam cleaner. A good expensive steam cleaner can do much better than this spot cleaner. There's no doubt that this is an awesome product and gets the job done, it just takes extremely long to clean with it. I would recommend going over with this, then a steam cleaning after it. This doesn't mean don't buy this! you should! It's great for spills.
Just recently purchased and very happy with the results.Negatives are that the cleaning hose is very short. Says 1.4m but feels shorter than this just to the way it connects to the unit. Would be great if the hose was slightly longer as it can make the process a bit of a pain.Can also be a little worrying at the amount of liquid it sprays out. Says ‘misting’ in the manual but it’s more of a heavy spray. It happy slurps this up however.
It’s is easy to use and very portable. Perfect for little spills on carpet, couches and car upholstery.I found it difficult to find the liquid you need to use in the machine though. Nothing is very obvious when looking on the bissell website and some of the cleaning fluids that were recommended on the Harvey Norman website say that they aren’t suitable for this particular machine. It does come with 2 bottles but I couldn’t seem to the same bottles to purchase from Harvey Norman.
Really happy. Suction strong enough to leave the upholstery and carpets not soaking, which is what I was concerned about prior to buying. Obviously not as strong as the official rug doctor machines. Probably need to fill/empty/fill the containers about 3x to effectively clean a 2x seater couch. But worth it to have my own spot/upholstery cleaner on hand and stop paying to hire the rug doctor. Cord is pretty long too which is helpful.
