Equipped with a larger Super-35 sensor and EF lens mount, the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K allows you to use larger EF photo lenses for cinematic images with a shallower depth of field. Create creative blurry backgrounds and beautiful bokeh effects. With the additional resolution, you also have more scope for cutting and color correction when framing. So you can film in 6K and then zoom and frame in post production to create totals and closeups. All this is possible with only one camera and without any loss in image quality! Benefit from the same features as expensive digital film cameras. Capture richer colors, more detail, and a wider dynamic range between the brightest lights and darkest shadows. That's why movie pictures look so fantastic. And now you can get the same high-end production value for every job. Shoots of indie and documentary films, music, wedding and corporate videos and the like in cinematic quality thus move into the realm of what is feasible. In the elegant design of the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera there is an enormous variety of high-end digital film features in a handy miniature format. Made of lightweight carbon-polycarbonate composite material, the camera body has a multifunctional support arch. From there, all shooting, ISO, white balance, and shutter angle controls are within reach of your fingertips. Because the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera is a state-of-the-art digital film camera, the sensor is designed to reduce thermal noise. This results in cleaner shadows and higher ISO sensitivity. The multifunctional retaining arch on the housing is designed according to ergonomic principles. The buttons for important functions such as ISO, white balance and shutter are within reach of your fingertips. There's even a scroll wheel so you can make aperture adjustments with your index finger in no time. Additional controls that go far beyond DSLR cameras save you the hassle of searching for commands on a tiny display.
