Have had for a couple weeks. It is doing a good job. Cleans out food odors and kicks in high when cleaning the cat litter daily-from the bit of dust. I have it set on auto per the manual instructions.I like being able to view the air quality and settings from the app on my phone..The unit is very quiet and only notice it is on when it periodically and automatically turns on high for a short time when clearing out a pollutant.As an fyi, the unit comes with a prefilter that is washable and fits over the unit with a color choice. I almost purchased separately not realizing this. So far very pleased.

We recently upgraded from box fans to these in two major rooms and have been so far impressed. The auto mode catches changes to room air before our noses or sinuses and adjusts accordingly. The nighttime mode is whisper quiet and the app so far has been seamless. The size is pretty good, there is a presence without it taking up a huge amount of floor space, which we appreciate. Would definitely recommend, will definitely buy more of as needed.

After searching various consumer reports and a documentary which analysed the effectiveness of air purifiers, I bought this Blue Air purifier about three weeks ago and do notice a difference in the air quality. It is whisper quiet. What I object to is that the cover, while machine washable at low temperature, it can't in the dryer. I would have thought that a product which pulls mold, pathogens, whatnot out of the air would have a cover that's machine washable and dryable at temperatures which actually kills those organisms.

I wanted an air filter for our lower level kitchen, dining, and family room area. I have severe allergies and thought this would be helpful. I have had a smaller unit in the bedroom for a couple of years and it has helped my allergies a lot. The first time we cooked and there was some odor in the air, this unit went into high gear and lit up red. After about 20 minutes or so it slowed down and eventually went back to blue (clear air). I was so impressed at how well it got the smell out of the air. It has happened a few more times and each time does a great job. Sneezing of everyone has been significantly reduced. Very happy with the power of this air filter and would definitely recommend. Also very quiet in auto mode.
Recieved this and the fan sounds weird on the highest setting. Got it on sale during Black Friday wanted to exchange it so I’d get it at the same sell price. They said they’d send another one it was supposed to be here yesterday. I checked status on line and they had canceled the order. Has spent and wasted a lot of time on mine texting and chatting with customer service to no avail. Will be returning this today and will have to wait for a new one. I’m supposing or I’ll get it elsewhere. Avoid Best Buy if at all possible the return policy and customer service is subpar. I feel like ive been herding cats trying to get a working purifier. They don’t care if you are put out because they are not.
I was looking for a larger air cleaner for my living room/ dining area, and this one fits the bill. Did some research online and this item was recommended highly by a article in CNET. Plus my fiancé was having some issues breathing at night, snoring a little more than usual. She swears it has been helping her breath easier, i seem to be a little less stuffy as well. Also it’s beautifully made and looks good im the room without looking mechanical. Recommended for sure
This is an excellent air cleaner in operation and design. I have 2 other Blue Air Cleaners. In winter the house is closed and more difficult to get fresh, clean air into the rooms and these help a great deal. My allergies are much less noticed. This particular unit responds automatically to the amount of air pollution it senses with a variable speed fan but can also be set manually for 3 other speeds.
This is a great tool to add to the home or office space. The design is modern and fits into any space without standing out. The best part about using the product is the app and the ability to control the unit from anywhere. To save on cost it has an auto feature that will run based on the quality of the air. Another cost saving feature is the ability for the unit to turn on and off based on your location via cell. depending on the fan speed it can be very quiet to somewhat noisy. If ran on Auto and the fan is at full power, it doesn't stay noisy for long periods of time depending on the situation at the moment. The sensor is able to pick up very quickly to smoke, aerosol fragrance sprays, oil diffusers, you name it, it can sense it and act accordingly.

Both clean the air in the rooms very well. 311i is in a 300sqft bedroom and manages to keep the entire space fresh, so I’m very happy with its performance there. 1 downside, the WiFi connectivity lacks. Both units drop off the network consistently even with being close to the router. I had set up schedules for them using the blue app, but when they don’t stay connected, they do not turn on and off as desired. Work around is I connected them to a smart plug and recreated the schedules on that app, However with connectivity through the blue app, I can’t see air quality results or details in when to replace the filters. I have had a lot fo air purifiers in my home over the years. This is my second BlueAir air filter unit. This model is much better than the first generation. It is super quiet and the fabric sleeve can easily be washed. The fabric sleeve is the first layer of filtration and prolongs the lift of the unit’s HEPA filter. The unit has an okay mobile app thst connects to the filter and provides data on air quality and run time. Id say the best feature is the quietness of the unit and the washable sock.
