This product is pretty much exactly as advertised and does what it is supposed to do, which is why I gave it 4 stars. It has a good stretch to the fabric as well. However, you should consider the following before purchasing to know if it will be right for you:The wrap nature of the product makes it really long. You will want to put this on before leaving the house. You will not want to put it on or take it off anywhere but your home because the straps are too long making it difficult to put on in the car, and making it get dirty or damaged if putting on in the parking lot or somewhere else. This wrap is better for newborn sized babies. If you have a big baby from the start (ie my son was 9.5 at birth), it is not a great fit. There is also only one SAFE way to wrap it and so it can't grow with your child and they can't really sit in any other direction. If you live somewhere hot, humid, or if you want to use in the summer I would not recommend. It gets really sweaty and does not have great breathability. Also, if it is of importance to you, this is not the most stylish wrap in my opinion and has tendency to make you look bigger than you are when you are wearing it. This really shouldn't matter but I guess I just didn't like leaving the house feeling like I looked frumpy.

After reading countless reviews I decided to purchase two wrap carriers, this one and a Moby wrap. I felt two were necessary so I had a second if one were in the wash (now realize that’s really not that necessary) and secondly the Boba was supposedly a heavier fabric making it warmer than the Moby (I’d have a winter wrap and a summer wrap).I would absolutely agree the fabrics are much different. The Boba is thicker/warmer and much more stretchy. The Boba is also a little longer. Due to the Boba being extra stretchy I feel like it tends to loosen up after you’ve got it on for a while. I do like the extra stretch though because I can easily loosen it up enough to breastfeed while wearing it. Reason for 4 stars is because I do feel like the Boba wrap is a little too stretchy and tends to loosen up after wearing for a period of time. Not necessarily a bad thing but baby says down a little after a while. You’d need to practice putting it on tighter to avoid this. Overall a great wrap though. Fabric is soft and definitely keeps you and baby warm. Once you get the hang of it, it’s easy to wrap and put baby in and out.

I will make an edit once I get the chance to actually use it; my baby is not yet here I still have 4 weeks to go. I have loved the idea of using wraps to baby wear for a VERY long time, and now that I’m going to have a little one I finally was able to buy one justifiably. One of my aunts got me a different company, so I will be comparing the two. This one, right off the bat you can tell is made with care. It came specially wrapped in a box with the company name. Folded nice and neat with a card with instructions on use sitting right on top. You flip over the first layer and there are two more cards. One is safety reminders not only of how to wear your baby, but instructing on how to prevent closed airways. And the second is a card that has their mission statement ... MoreI will make an edit once I get the chance to actually use it; my baby is not yet here I still have 4 weeks to go. Inside attached to the tag is a registration card for recall and warranty information. I bought the Sangria wrap, and the color is just gorgeous. It’s more vibrant than the picture implies, but that’s a good thing. It’s super soft and lightweight despite the amount of fabric involved. I’m really excited to try it. The other one (I don’t remember the name of the company, it was a $22ish one I added to my registry as I knew family would be unlikely to buy the more expensive brand. It’s gray and very comfortable to wrap. Light cotton jersey kind of material. It has the instructions printed on one end sewn to the fabric, and a tag that marks the center for where to place it when wrapping. It came with a drawstring bag for protection. I am definitely more impressed at this stage with the boba wrap. I will add to my review once my daughter is here and I can do more than try either on. (I will also be editing to add the name of the company for the second wrap I got)Edit: I have used this twice so far (4 weeks old now), and I have to say I absolutely love it. My recommendation though is to baby wear either with just the diaper or with a lightweight like gerber onesie without sleeves or legs. All the layers of cloth made her very warm to the touch. But keep in mind where you are…it’s currently January in Southern California for me. I would assume Minnesota or Alaska you would need many more layers than that. It supports her weight perfectly and makes it super easy to do things like eating. I love this wrap. I have not yet tried the other brand (jeroray or something like that) I got.

I used four different carriers for my baby: a Baby K'Tan, this Boba Wrap, an Ergo Baby, and a Lillebaby. Here are the pros and cons of each:First, the Baby K'Tan. I tried this one first and loved it for my newborn. The main advantage to the K'Tan is that it is sort of a Boba or Moby Wrap for Dummies: easier to put on, and made of less stretchy fabric. This held my baby snugly to my chest, and this was the ONLY way she would nap most afternoons. I spent a lot of time with her in this! The fabric does stretch out eventually, but I simply put the K'tan in the washer and through the dryer on high heat, and it went back to its original size. Cons: The K'Tan is sized, so unless you want to buy two (or you are the same size), your partner wont' be able to use it. Cons: The K'Tan is sized, so unless you want to buy two (or you are the same size), your partner wont' be able to use it. As my baby got heavier, we needed a carrier my husband could use, too. Also ,the support strap ties in back, and this is uncomfortable if you want to wear the carrier while sitting (for example, on a long airplane flight).Second, the Boba Wrap. This was the second carrier I bought. I love the soft, stretchy, thick fabric--much better feeling than a Moby. Also, the wrap ties in front so there is no knot in the back when you are sitting. Unlike the K'Tan, this one requires you to figure out how to wrap and tie, and it is a bit of a learning curve. However, the plus side was that my husband could use this, too. Now that my baby is over 6 months old, though, we mostly use the Lillebaby as it is more supportive and distributes her weight better.Third, the Ergo Baby. We ended up returning this one. For one, the infant insert just did not work out for us. Every time my husband tried this, the baby would start crying and fussing. For a newborn, it is definitely better to use a stretchy wrap like the Boba or K'Tan.Finally, the Lillebaby. This is the carrier we are currently using for our 7 month old. It supports her weight well, allows for multiple positions (including outward facing, which she now prefers), and does not require her to dangle from her crotch (as a Bjorn does). But this would not have been as comfy for her as a newborn.Overall, if you plan to get two carriers, I'd recommend the Boba (for an infant) and the Lillebaby for a larger baby.
I was sceptical about this wrap being any better than another one I bought. When I opened the box and felt the material I was impressed at the density but didn't think it was all that stretchy. However, my mind was changed out of necessity. My little one spitup all over the first one I'd bought and so I had to use this one; it's absolutely brilliant. My previous one was not stretchy at all and it was very hard to get tight, there was always loose bits and I felt the baby was slipping more. With this she feels snug and firmly wrapped. The material is dense and soft and I love the colour (sangria). All in all, _very_ pleasantly surprised
I absolutely love this wrap! I got it in 2021 when my now 2 and a half year old was born and now I use it with my 3 month old. It has saved my arms countless times. Both of my kids are pretty much glued to me and now having a toddler and a newborn that wants held all the time it helps being able to have my hands free to help my toddler. At first it seems confusing to wrap around you but after the first time you do it it's super simple. It's actually comfortable to wear to also..I'm very hot natured and thankfully this doesn't make me even more hot. Another great thing about this wrap is it's fully adjustable..no matter what size you are it will fit with you and your child. Both of my kids love(d) it. Whenever I put my newborn in it he immediately calms down and will fall right to sleep. If I did have to complain about something it would just be that it does get aggravating having to wrap/unwrap it everytime..it's not that it takes a long time to do but sometimes it would be nice to be able to just put it on and pretty much go. But other than that I love it and so does my baby.
I am a first time mom. So far, I am pleased with the wrap and it allows me to actually get things done with two hands and a newborn. There is a learning curve to getting it on and the right tightness, but the instruction booklet is very helpful and there are videos on YouTube. With some practice, I’ll be a pro in no time. The material is thick and I felt warm at first, but I think it was the stress of putting it on and getting baby in the first couple of times. Now, I’m doing housework, and I’m not sweaty. My little guy is very snuggly and happy in it. We had to wait to use it since he was premature and the lower weight limit is 7lbs. The first two times I put him in it, he spit up, so it got washed on cold and dried on medium. It looks good as new and washed well. ... MoreI am a first time mom. The first two times I put him in it, he spit up, so it got washed on cold and dried on medium. It looks good as new and washed well. Some reviews complain about back support. The instructions address this and how to tie the wrap on your hips to prevent back pain and distribute the weight. I noticed that my back hurt when I was doing the dishes and my posture was bad, but that’s a me problem - not a fault of the product. So just something to keep in mind. I removed one star for color accuracy. As another reviewer stated, this color is not a true gray. It totally has some olive undertones. In some light, it looks more green, and in other, more brown. For reference, I attached some photos under daylight and soft white bulbs indoors. I wanted something neutral that would go with anything but not show cat hair badly. Gray fit the bill, but this is definitely more of an earthy brown/green gray. I am disappointed by this, but oh well. I’ll just pretend like I’m a Jedi night in a dress. (Definitely gives me Padame vibes.)
I am a postpartum doula and I’ve tried every wrap/carrier there is from the cheapest to the $1,000 ones and this is by far my favorite. It’s thicker than the solly wrap but thinner than the moby, and it’s got stretch but it doesn’t stretch the longer you wear it. The key is to put it on tighter than you think you should; it is so stretchy that it would be difficult to do it too tight. if you put it on it too loose, your baby is gonna scrunch up and sag. It should fit snug! Snug enough that it could be an early 2000’s bandana top. Also it’s so cute in the rainbow and it washes super well!
