Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined Long-Wear Brow Pencil- Slate

May be too much reviews for one day, but I really want to share with you my holy grail product. This brow pencil is just perfect for me. It defines my brows, but leaves them natural at the same time and looks like I just have perfect brows without any help 🤪 the formula is very unique: smth between wax and powder in a stick. It is easy to use and the pencil is very long-wear. The shade mahogany is perfect for all, who has medium/dark blonde color or soft/medium brown. It has neutral undertone, not yellow and not grey. Just perfect soft brown-taupe color. I also really appreciate that you can buy refills to it and help the environment (and also safe money😅). Disappointed.

DISAPPOINTED.I was sold this upon discovering the original pencil version was sadly discontinued. The plastic casing seemed wasteful so the option of refills was the saving grace. I preferred the original pencil as this doesn't stay as 'sharp' over time/use, meaning it becomes a bit clumsy to apply. However I decided to I give it another go because the mahogany shade is perfect for me and I figured it might just take a bit more getting used to. So I come online to grab a refill... only to discover that much like the beloved crayon pencil, my shade has now been discontinued too! I'm even more disappointed to see that the mahogany shade is still available in the full pencil despite the refill being discontinued. What's going on?! To anyone thinking about getting one of these I'd recommend double checking availability of refills if that's important to you.

Great product before you discontinued Grey

I have loved this brow product for years. i had tried other brands previously but I found the Grey in this was my PERFECT product. I am getting older so my brows are fading but I also have a scar on my left eyebrow from a car accident when I was 6 years old. No hairs grew since the stitches. Now the eyebrow pencil gives me confidence and definition. When I discovered it was being discontinued I I bought as many as I could find. I am on the last one and I still have lots of years to live (I hope). PLEASE, PLEASE bring back the Grey.

It works!

When my brows started graying--I grayed prematurely--I got the Natural Brow Shaper & Hair Touch Up in Mahogany and I love it. But now that I'm much older and my brows are thinning, I felt I needed something more. So I watched a tutorial by Jaime and decided to try this product. I wasn't sure what color to get so I chatted with an artist, after watching the tutorial. At the artist's recommendation (I uploaded a pic of myself for her to see) I bought this pencil in Mahogany--the color she recommended. When I first tried it, it didn't look natural. I recently had the opportunity to do a one-on-one tutorial with Jaime, and he thinks the Espresso might work better on me. When I'm done with this pencil I may replace it with the Espresso. We'll see. Cost wise that may make most sense. In general, I'm not good when it comes to makeup application but I do find this easy to use. But will note that when I'm in a hurry, I reach for the brow shaper first. It's much easier and quicker without the pencil + shaper.

LIFESAVER - But PLEASE bring back Grey!

I BEG you to bring it back. I am not using it to fill in patches, I have zero eyebrows and I'm 43 years old. This pencil gave me my sense of self back, losing this shade is devastating to me. Please, I beg you, bring back grey.

Love the brow pencil

I love the brow pencil. It is precise and you can adjust as needed. It is long wear/10+ hours. The light wax keeps the brows in place and the pigment is nice and not super strong that makes your brows look fake. It is easy to fill in the brow bald spots. I've used other designer brow pencils that cost more, and BB is my favorite.

Luv this brow pencil

I have used both the micro brow pencil as well as this defined (wide angle) brow pencil and I love them both. I appreciate the wide angled soft brow wax of this pencil. The espresso is perfect for my black/semi dark brown brows. The formula is soft enough for application, yet the staying power and ease of blending is fabulous. I also love the micro for filling in precise brow strokes. Note: I am not a social media/free product review. I purchase all my makeup with my own money.

Just the name Bobbi Brown gives you the satisfaction that you are getting a quality product. I've used products from her line for some time, but I had never tried the brow pencil. The strange thing is that I had been using a pencil from a high-end line that I thought was giving me good results. No comparison. I have blonde highlights, but darker brows. Every time I order "Blonde" from any company, the result would be with a reddish tone. Anything darker would be so unattractive. I followed the video here and ordered "Slate"......absolute perfection. The pressure you apply determines the depth of color. No reddish tones at all. Blendable results with a precise finish. Wonderful if they have your color

This is a wonderful product that I have used for years. My hair is white but my brows are still a medium ash brown. I used the Gray shade but now it has been discontinued. That was a terrible name for such a perfect shade for me. The consultant at a well-known department store told me she was putting her Gray clients into Blonde, but it looked red on me. She tried an Anastasia brow pencil in Ash Brown (!) that worked. I really regret that Bobbi Brown discontinued Gray. It was a great product that really worked.

like this product but be careful as delicate...

As someone who does not have full eyebrows, this product is lovely as it really fills in the barer spots. with just the right amount of the perfect color. Just be careful, as the top of the color stick broke off when I pressed a bit too hard upon the first application. But, Bobbi Brown customer service to the rescue as when I phoned, they immediately offered up a replacement pencil. How kind of them. Guess I'm not the first one to have this issue... Maybe they should advise of such? Love it. nonetheless.
