Bobbi Brown - Vitamin Enriched Face Base - 15ml

I'm loving this Bobbi Brown Face Base! It's a super creamy moisturizer, which I'm always a fan of, since my skin is really dry, especially when it's cold out. It's got a bit of a citrus scent. It feels very thick, almost too thick, but once you put a bit on your finger, you realize that it's just super concentrated. You only need a dab, really. Somehow, a tiny bit of this product seems to cover the entirety of my face. I use it as a primer and as a moisturizer before applying makeup. I've also used it as just a moisturizer and used a different primer afterwards, so don't let that word scare you away. Amazing with the right products

This can be a finicky primer but with the right complexion products it's pretty amazing. Admittedly, I hated this for a while because it always made my complexion look worse(pilling, separating, etc.) plus the fragrance is pretty strong. However, I recently found my holy grail foundation (Chanel Les Beige Complexion) and this makes it look even better! My makeup will stay looking fresh through an entire work day with a dewy, but not overly shiny, finish. I have really dry skin so I couldn't ask for better.I would definitely recommend starting with the trial size. I tried the primer with a lot of products (including ones Beauty YouTubers recommend it with) before I found my match. Plus the scent can be very off putting... Keeps Makeup In Place All Day

I have seen many people on social media use the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base Primer Moisturizer and say it's their holy grail. The first thing I noticed when I opened it was it had a fresh lemon, citrus smell. Not strong, but noticeable. It has the properties and texture of a traditional moisturizer. It is thick and moisturizing but not too heavy if your skin is on the dry side. It could probably work on any skin type, but oily skin might have to be conservative with the amount. When you apply it, it dries down a bit so it doesn't stay wet on your face. For my my forehead, which is dryer, I had to be more generous so I could spread it around, because of its fast absorption. It keeps makeup on well. I feel like I've tested every moisturizer on planet earth over the years, both expensive and cheap, but I love this moisturizer more than any of them despite how ridiculously expensive it is. I had small sample jar to try out and loved it right away, but I waited until there was a good Bobbi Brown sale to spring for the largest size. I use this cream sparingly in the a.m. (if it were cheaper I'd use it in the p.m. as well), and I expect this size to last 11 or 12 months at the rate I use it. I bought BB's under eye cream almost a year ago and the very tiny jar of it lasted 11 months, so I think I can make this large jar last that long. My Holy Grail Primer

I have normal-to-(very) dry skin. As someone who masks often, uses a retinoid, and experiences allergic rhinitis on a daily basis, I find that I am no stranger to flaky skin around my t-zone area (especially around my mouth), making it almost impossible for me to apply makeup due to it merely emphasizing the flaky dryness of my skin. Out of all the primers I've tried, this is the best primer at moisturizing and smoothing out the texture of my skin! (I still use a separate moisturizer underneath though.) It can sting to apply this if your skin is sensitized, so be warned, but no other primer has made my cheaper makeup look and apply so well. I've noticed as I'm aging that products no longer "float" on my skin, products crack almost instantly and settle in my fine lines and wrinkles. I know Bobbi Brown Face Base has been around FOREVER and I've somehow forgotten how great her products are.
