This knife block is great. It is very heavy so that you cannot knock it over easily. The concept for holding the knives is really unique. I have used knife blocks previously and did not like them at all, but the design and function of this knife block has won me over. I really like the look of it also.

This knife block works as it should. Holds knives in place. Size wise is not too big and not too small. I probably will not replace. Just another item on our counter essentially taking up space.Thought this would work great with the knives we have and while it does - it just takes up space

This knife block is very cool looking and fits well with my decor. The only problem is that it will not fir the very long knives at all. It looks like it will fit but then the knife meets resistance, leaving a lot of it sticking out.From the attached images you can see where the knife should fit... however the second image shows how far it actually goes down. This can be dangerous to have the edge of the blade sticking out this way.It fits most smaller knives but you will need a separate block for your extra long knives.

This knife block is perfect! I've had some before that never fit under my low cabinets and this one does! It doesn't dull the blades and can hold quite a few knives. The design is easy to use and looks great with our decor. Totslly love it!
Thus bistro knife block by Bodum looks rather fancy, but it is just the block and doesn't come with the knives. And even though the design allows for knives to be placed anywhere in it, the taller knives stick out and you can only stick about 5 or 6 knives in it as it is not as big as most other knife blocks. It is a sleek fancy looking design, though, and can be considered rather stylish, but it's not for us.
This is the most unusual looking knife block I have ever seen. It has these long skinny plastic "sticks" that the knife slides between. The block is skinny but you can put a bunch of knives in it. I took every pairing knife and kitchen knife and steak knives I could find and all of them fit. I got a total of 21 knives in the block. That is crazy!There is one negative to the block. It is not long enough to put my large butcher knife or bread knives inside. I don't like the top of the sharp edge still being exposed.This is a great invention and incredibly clever. It is so much smaller then my large wooden kitchen block that takes up a lot of room and only holds a fraction of the knives.
This isn't what I was expecting, so my disappointment was probably worse. It looks like the head of a wisk broom and after pulling it up from the container, that's what I thought it was. It holds steak knives but nothing larger than 10 inches. It even had a few bristles missing when I took it out. I would not spend the money for this.
I love the sleek design but modern look. The fine plastic Ros makes it easy to place knives in the block anywhere. The block also allows my knives to be handy while still being stored securely. It’s heavy enough where it won’t tip over, but not too heavy to easily move. I’m able to store a variety size of knives at once and still have room to take/put other ones out/in. Overall great concept

The outside can be wiped down with a cloth and water!All in all, this is an AMAZING knife block and I HIGHLY recommend it! I have never had one this nice, and I love it! I use it everyday!
