I recently have gotten and tried out the wave wand and loved it. At first I was nervous because it looked heavy. But honestly it was not that bad hold. I have shoulder length hair so it really didn’t take me too long. I held it down for 10 seconds and a perfect wave was given after a few trials . Honestly anyone can do it it’s so easy and looks more natural than a normal curler. After I finished I brushed through the wavers to make it more natural. It held throughout the day and would recommend it if you want more of a beachier look. Even throwing in some sea salt spray and scrunching it would be chefs kiss.

I literally loved this wave wand until it stopped turning off. Yes, it stopped turning off. Even when it said "off", the iron heats up. I contacted Bondi Boost and the exchange process was ridiculous. I offered to send it back so they could inspect the unit for themselves and determine if it was faulty, at my own expense. You must unplug this unit when not in use. You can not rely on the auto shut off feature, because this iron literally never turns off! I initially thought the unit was probably defective and just wanted an exchange. The representative gave so much push back, I was so frustrated, I turned around a bought a CHI. it turns off when plugged in!

This is perfect for letting naturally curly hair air dry and waving the the top layer/face framing pieces. You can also do a few random pieces underneath to blend. I get compliments consistently since starting this method. I use the tool flipped upside (flat plate on top, round bars underneath) and hold it at a downward diagonal angle so the waves don't look uniform/straight across. I also don't go too close to the roots or the ends. When I say a game-changer, I mean it. My last game changer was the Dyson air-wrap, and I still find myself reaching for this everytime these days.

It's incredibly user-friendly and creates the most gorgeous, natural-looking waves. The quality of the Wave Wand is top-notch. It feels sturdy and well-made, giving me confidence that it will last for a long time. Additionally, the heat temperature is perfect, allowing me to achieve beautiful waves without causing damage to my hair.Overall, I highly recommend the Bondi Boost Wave Wand. It combines ease of use, stylish aesthetics, excellent quality, and just the right heat temperature to create stunning waves. It's definitely become an essential part of my hair styling routine.
I was so excited to try this! I used a "3 prong curling iron" (what we called in back in the late 90's-early 2000's) every single morning when getting ready for highschool. To the point my hair was completely fried by my Senior year and I never wanted to see another "3 prong" again. These weren't very popular back then. These days though, we have social media, which completely changes what we see and how things become popular. I have been wanting to try a large 3 barrel for awhile. And I didn't know this was a "viral" product until I googled it on YouTube to see if others liked it. Even though it seemed to have a lot of complaints, it was affordable and large barelled so it is what I got. When I plugged it in and waited till it heat up, I picked it up and it turned ... MoreI was so excited to try this! I tried a few more times. Same thing, would barely pick it up and Id hear a weird wiry noise coming from the tool then it shuts off. I contacted Ulta and they were amazing in helping me get another. (Ive only had to use Customer Service a few times in the last decade but they have always been amazing!) When I got the new one in the mail, it worked wonderfully. My only problem is (and I noticed this immediately so it wasnt the reason for the previous issue) but it is so easy to turn it off! At least now I can use it but I am able to turn this one back on with no issue so it gets the job done. It creates larger waves than the smaller ones which is exactly what I wanted! I do recommend but I would be mindful of the button placement. Its very poorly designed.
The wand size makes much larger waves than I expected, so I am glad I went with the 25mm over the 32mm. The clamp is a little stiff, and gets uncomfortable about halfway through styling, the power and temperature buttons are awkardly placed and get in the way of your hand when clamping. It doesn't feel like the nicest quality of materials, a bit plasticy feeling. It does the job and heats up relatively quickly, the ceramic coating on the plates is nice and non-stick, which should be easy to clean. I wouldn't repurchase this, I am undecided on if I will keep it. I wonder how legitimate all the reviews and ratings are, I have a feeling sponsored influencers have been skewing the feedback.
As someone who is always experimenting with new hair colors, I was excited to try the Wave Wand Mini (25mm) as a way to create loose, beachy waves without having to spend hours styling my hair. However, I was a bit apprehensive about trying it out, as I've had bad experiences with Babyliss products in the past.Fortunately, the Wave Wand Mini proved to be an excellent choice. This is particularly important for me since I frequently change my hair color, which can leave my hair more vulnerable to heat damage.Using the wand was also a breeze. I simply sectioned off my hair and wrapped each section around the wand, holding it for a few seconds before releasing it. The result was natural-looking waves that lasted for hours, even without the use of hairspray or other styling products.Overall, I highly recommend the Wave Wand Mini to anyone who's new to hair styling tools, dislikes Babyliss products, and frequently changes hair color. It's an excellent choice for creating beachy waves that won't damage your hair, and it's easy to use, even for those who are new to hair styling tools.
Im no stranger to waving irons. Ive had about four different ones over the last few years, and finally ordered this one to test! I originally heard of this one during the pandemic and almost got it, but opted for the Amika deep waver instead. Not only is the Amika brand triple the price, but though pretty, gave more of a deep crimpy wave, apposed to a soft beachy wave! This was really what I was hoping for. I think with wavers espcially hair type can really dictate what type of wave looks good! Ive only used this once so far, but I was impressed with not only the look but the ease of use, and price point! The only negative so far is my hand bumps the power button in use.
This was fairly easy to use. It wasn't as heavy as I expected it to be. If you do not hold either the + or - button down for 3-ish seconds to "lock" it, you will CONSTANTLY turn off the waver during use. I saw a lot off reviews about this, which means several folks did not read the manual. I wanted to use this on no-wash hair days, but my hair absolutely, positively would NOT hold these waves. On hair wash days, I dry my hair and straighten it, so it could be the smoother I use on this day that keeps me from being able to put in curls the next day. I may get on YouTube videos about this waver and see if anyone in the comments have any styling product recommendations I can use before I make a decision about returning this.
