I have a Bosch corded mower in the past, as I have a steep block and I need something a bit lighter to move around. Bosch are always reliable, and the ARM 1400W has been excellent. I know I can count on it, and I have a medium sized lawn and it is fine. I don't let the grass grow too long but otherwise it is excellent. Nice and quiet, light weight and no more mucking around with petrol, oil or trying to start a noisy old mower. I can recommend the Bosch 1400 corded mower as a long time user of their products!

I bought this electric wired mower. The machine works only for maintenance purposes and if the grass is tall and strong, the motor heats up and switches off automatically. I needed to give it a few minutes before resuming mowing to cut our tall grass (I rented a petrol mower to cut the tall grass). This is a small machine and you should consider buying this to maintain small dry grass only.

Very easy to assemble and use. Lightweight and packs down small to store. The power cord it comes with is a great length so I didn't need any other extension cables either. I only have a small lawn (25sqm) so is perfect size for that.

Great buy for the price. Good for small & medium sized flat lawns. Of course continually repositioning the cord is a downside but still a great cheap lawnmower. Easy to assemble & operate. Catcher works well & lawn looks very tidy when finished.
Fantastic little machine for the price. Easy to put together and a decent length of cable for a small plot. I recommend buying a heavy duty extension cable with RCD if you intend on using this machine on a larger lawn. Lightweight and low noise which was a major consideration for me. A good green option without the nasty batteries.
What a cool experience!! Quick easy click and collect. I loved the "putting it together" process. Had to disassemble a couple of times because I am notorious for reading instructions :). But it is so fun to use and cuts beautifully. I have to lift it up a couple of stairs but because it is so light it is perfect for the job. My neighbours tease me about my new plastic kids lawnmower, but I love it. I am mowing the lawn twice a week because I enjoy using it so much.
Excellent little mower! Very simple to assemble, and it just goes without fail from that point on. If you have quite a big lawn like me, the catcher is a bit small (have to empty about 6-8 times if I cut entire lawn) but so worth it considering the price, compactness and performance of this mower. Cable included is more than enough if you have a small garden, but I just connect another extension cord, and we all good to go.
It cuts well, when the handles are up, but the handles area almost impossible to fold.I had the previous Bosch Rotak model which was awesome, but this is utterly useless if you want to fold the handles for storage. I love Bosch Products, & have loads, but cant believe they have made such a useless piece of junk with this model.After purchase I went back to Mitre10 & asked the salesman for a Demo in folding the handles down, in case I had missed a trick, but even the Mitre10 guy struggled for over 4 minutes, with a lot of jiggling, trying to fold the handles down. He got them down eventually but it was more by good luck than anything else. I have a smallish lawn that was getting to much for me and my push mower.This Bosch electric mower is fantastic. It's lightweight, easy to operate, multiple power control points on the handle, the grass collectors capacity is good, the height adjuster is flexible and the cut is even and clean.Beats any petrol mower I've had over the years because its reliable and easy to start and cheap to run.Just be aware of and take care not to run over the cable.
Good mower for my lawn. Good length of supplied electric cable lead - although I need an additional extension cord. Very good and efficient 'push' buttons to start and stop the engine. Cuts very well. Required assembly which was relatively easy but drawings/instructions bit hard to follow. (It would be good if Mitre 10 could offer assembly for those who need it.) Very good value for reliable brand.
