Bosch Professional 18V Gli Vari-LED Torch - Skin Only

Brilliant little light. Just what I needed and surprisingly bright. Haven't had it that long yet so hard to comment on durability but so far well impressed.

These torches are excellent. As a field service engineer I have gone through many different types and makes over the years , this is the best torch I have ever used . Compact design, very efficient due to led , versatile and using the generic 18 v batteries from Bosch easy to quickly swap without waiting for inconvenient charge times . I’ve had mine over 4 years and use and abuse it 5 days a week . Still going strong . Excellent product

Gives out plenty of light and lasts for hours and hours with a 4ah battery. If you use Bosch 18v then it's a great addition to your tool kit. The head is adjustable so it can be pointed towards where you are working. Ideal for lofts and confined spaces - a lot of light in a small package. The only slight criticism is that it's supposed to have two light "modes" - focused spot light and wider flood light by means of an adjuster on the front of the lens, but they are virtually identical to me so this is an in-necessary gimmick. Even so this light gets a dfinite 5/5 for me and I've now bought 3 of them for me and my team.

I've not used this in a real-life situation yet, but it certainly lights up a large area for its size. I would expect it to last the better part of a working day working from a 4.0Ah battery. It appears well made, folds down to a very compact size and looks capable of withstanding the rigours of onsite use.

It broke down after only a few months of light use. I opened it up to discover how silly it’s designed and made. There are cables right where it swivels and they get chaffed and eventually break. Called Bosch but it’s too much hassle to get the warranty repair for a light which cost £26. The price of it has doubled now. Avoid.

Excellent illumination and looks well made. I have used it only once so far but was impressed. Now a permanent feature in my Bosch Combi Drill box, together with the spare 18v battery.Great service from Powertool World as usual.

Compact but dated LED technology

I bought this as a replacement for various LED torches I own, and thought it'd be handy, as it uses the same batteries as most of my power tools. Unfortunately, the Led tech, although Cree based is not like the modern generation COB LEDs you get in the better inspection lights. It has got a hard focus, soft focus adjuster ring, and various light levels, but the output is not as good as other torches I have. Great quality with robust aluminium heatsink, and even though I got this at a much reduced price, so it is good value, I'd wait for the next generation version, and pay a bit more for the improved lighting output that will be coming. Maybe there is one in the wings, which is why this product is being discounted.

Excellent very practical lamp

Especially when you already have Bosch batteries for other tools. It illuminates super well, small, clings everywhere. I have a LED projector on the sector too but to put further because too dazzling. Ideal between the headlamp and a big projo.

Great Build Quality

Used it for about 2 months now. Great product. Excellent build quality and does the job well. Small and compact. I dropped it once already off a counter top onto tile floor but no problem, nothing broken and works well.

Handy work light

As long as you shop around on eBay you can find this little light at a good price. Some people pull prices out of their asses I think. It's not quite enough to light a hole room but is excellent for specific jobs. Confined spaces, cupboards, lofts etc. Nice quality, sturdy and compact. Would also be handy for camping etc.
