I purchased this particular 18V Combi Drill because I could envisage the benefits of having a smaller and lighter drill that still retained the flexible power output of the much larger units on offer. It has proven to be exactly what I was looking for,: A highly versatile, lightweight and manageable power tool. It should perhaps be called the: COMBI COMPACT IMPACT DRILL.

Used to have a cordless drill that didn't keep it's charge and would struggle to drill a hole in a lump of cheese... NOT the Bosch universallimpact drill !!. It's not just a good design, but does "exactly what it says on the tin" and it didn't break the Bank to acquire it.

Terrific drill for general DIY, the hammer function, as is the case with most, if not all, DIY battery drills is not up to much. I use either an SDS or corded hammer for brick. However, for general use these take some beating. My previous one lasted 6 years in a dusty environment and was used on all sorts of different things. Never let me down until the motor died.

I guess I am biased as I have a fairly full suite of Bosch cordless tools, but this really is a good one. It is very light, and the battery is easier to fit and remove than on most other of my cordless tools. It has a good feature not on the previous drill I owned, where the head cannot be over-tightened when fitting a bit as it merely ratchets when turned too tight.
I bought an 18volt Bosch drill kit a couple of years ago. As I had other drills for everyday use it was resticted to a few light delicate jobs. Now it has lost power with either fully charged battery so much so it's useless. The kit now only serves as a paper weight I will never but Bosch again and stick to the much cheaper brand battery drills that have given far better performance over the years.
Great Multi Purpose DIY drill that's powerful enough for around the house job's as well as medium duty work (assembling planter boxes and racking systems). This is also a light weighted drill that wife says she's happy to use.
Had a Bosch drill for about 15 years bought from B and Q Mitcham ,now gone replaced by Asda.Batteries not holding charge so looked for replacement. Drill had been used by both sons for putting up shelves, putting together units , building new sheds and other jobs so well used.Used Wickes a lot and they had a good price so bought 2!Old drill had 2 batteries ,masonry drills and set of different screwdriver bits all in a carry case. This drill also has hammer action but double ended bits and case.Went to pick up drills and had only one in stock but girl said she would order another one for next day.Getting ready to collect and courier delivered as going to car.Excellent service Beddington lane branch. Thanks. So far very pleased with it.Thank you.
I have used this tool all over my house and in my DIY projects. It now has it's own dedicated battery so it's always ready to go. It's a great little multitasker.
As I already had other Bosch cordless DIY tools it was a no-brainer when my old Makita cordless drill needed to be replaced. The Bosch unit is compact, has all the features I want and comes with two batteries.
Upgraded to this when our old drill gave up after 17 years (points to the wickes own brand drill for longevity)Really pleased with this drill, powerful but very light and compact, a pleasure to use. Great to have the second battery, no more waiting around for the drill to charge!
