I have since bought a second unit as a gift. Size and portability are terrific, but what surprised me was the bass response. Found the bass sounded best when placed in a corner. Battery life is more than have been able to exhaust in normal use. Although not competition for powered speaker units with subwoofers. for great listening quality & definition at reasonable volumes I found it to be simply outstanding.

Very nicely built 360 speaker. The build screams quality as expected from Bose. Sound is amazing, if you love their signature sound. Bass is good and can sound pretty awesome depending on where you place it. I replaced my old 1st Gen UE boom. Is it worth it for the price, that depends on what how deep your wallet is. Money is well spent IMO, if you're looking for a higher end portable speaker. Beats the sound off anything it's size. +++++

Im VERY biased towards JBL, but this little speaker sounds nearly as good as my $4,000 stereo! (Which is quite disconcerting). My only complaint is that I wish the bass and treble could be manually controlled, (I live in an apartment). I know that might sound too pie-in-the-sky for a bluetooth speaker, but given the outrageously expensive retail price, I dont think its unreasonable. Thats the other thing: the PRICE - WOW! I definitely wouldnt pay retail, Id hold out for around $200.

The Bose Soundlink Revolve+ is a great sounding bluetooth speaker. I've tried half a dozen different brands and so far the Revolve+ is easily the best sounding. I've read there is a JBL that may sound better but I have not heard it so I can't compare the two. It sounds even better when paired with a second Revolve+ in stereo mode. I've had some problems getting the two speakers linked as stereo but one I get them to link they sound great.
This is my second Bose Soundlink Revolve +. It was purchased to provide a stereo component to the initial Soundlink. I was pleased with the sound from the first unit, but having the ability to link a second unit provides a really great listening experience. The Soundlink is well built, attractive, easy to carry, and does have a great sound. It is expensive, but worth the cost.
Engineering flaw - Bose designed this so the speaker uses more power than the power supply can handle so even if you have this plugged in full time the battery slowly drains!! I had it playing about 80% volume starting with a fully charged battery and after about 5 hours of paying I was at 40%. Why would you design a power supply that can't keep up? The volume is surprising for it's size, louder than what you would think. It broadcasts 360 degrees which is nice. I don't know why Bose wouldn't have added a tweeter to this? It uses a single speaker so you don't get crisp highs. I also don't know why Bose wouldn't have just used a 1-2" bigger speaker so you can hear bass instead of the mid-bass that this puts out. Bose instead puts a ton of engineering to squeeze a ... Bose instead puts a ton of engineering to squeeze a little more out of a tiny speaker. I don't think anyone would complain if it was the size of a coffee can instead of a slightly larger soda can. It should also be lower priced for what you get. That being said, for it's size it plays loud without distortion.
Compact size that fits in my backpack. Good clarity with a nice depth of sound. The battery never seems to deplete either! I use it when I teach or rehearse music. The sound is big enough to fill a large classroom and clear enough to follow every measure! Very satisfied with this speaker!
Worked with my haggled price and promptly sent the product. They even did a great job packing the device by being mindful of the shipping. They compacted the box to ensure no unnecessary movements were allowing the products to roam around freely and possibly break. The speaker itself works great. Beautiful sound. Very loud and crisp. Only flaw, not enough bass to my liking but I understand why. Too much bass would cause a rattle to disrupt the sound, making it muffled and useless. I need to try in a larger crowd and environment to solidify this as a go to speaker for enjoyment. Overall, I would still pick this speaker over others Thank you! I shall rock out with this now!
The "Top Critical Review" for this Bose SoundLink Revolve+ clearly misunderstands the fundamental concept of Bose acoustical engineering. The reviewer asks why Bose didn't include a tweeter and larger woofer in this unit. Critics have expressed this same complaint since the introduction of the original Bose 901 speakers more than 50 years ago (1967), believing that a quality speaker requires a large woofer to reproduce deep, low frequencies, and a separate tweeter for sparkling highs, with a cross-over network to separate the frequencies. Bose took an entirely different and novel approach, using one or more full-range speakers and no cross-overs. Using this approach, a talented team of MIT acoustical and electrical engineers mastered the science and art of brilliant ... I just charged it up a few hours ago and have been jamming out In fact I liked it so much I went ahead and ordered another one to have the stereo effect. My den is about 16x16 with hardwood floors . It sound great in all locations but I put it right up in the Corner behind my recliner chair and it is awesome . In fact in this position the one is fine but I like options and with company I want to fill the whole room by placing one in each corner Out of sight . I like being able to move from den to bedroom or patio . I also have a sound link mini that is very impressive For its size but the Revolve plus is much louder and deeper base . I have read that others complain about the lack of a equalizer or tone control. I really did not feel the need to change too much but ...
