Bought this speaker from costco a couple of.years ago. Speaker is going strong. We've even accidentally dropped it a few times. Love the attached cover/ stand it has. Very easy to use. Bluetooth connection. Sound quality is excellent very loud. I love it! Highly recommended. [brand:bose] [brand:costco]

I’ve had this thing for many years. It’s not water resistant but I never used it where it could get submerged. It’s been in the rain and it still works strong. I use this speaker for all kinds of occasions. It is a little bit on the heavy side but still fully portable. The sound quality is great. There is a lot of bass so if you play it on a lower volume you’ll hear almost all bass. Depends on what you are listening to. I recommend this speaker, hope this helps!

I had this speaker for years. It was the best. Sound was amazing, battery stayed charged for days even with using all day long. It finally give out on me prolly after 10 years. I guess that was my sign to upgrade to the newer one.

We have had our Bose for… probably 10 years. I’ve had smaller wireless speakers I’ve purchased but this Bose hands down is the best. I love that you can take it anywhere, it has such great sound and bass and beats out the others. Don’t get me wrong, others are great. But this hands down has amazing bass and loud sound that’s clear.
I have had my Bose SoundLink speakers for years. Bose speakers are quality sound. Battery life is great. I have taken my speakers on vacation including the beach. Sound amazing.
I listened to all of the portable speaker systems I could find in local stores before settling on this one. I had no intention so spending this much on a portable speaker- but after hearing the competition it seemed like buying a lesser speaker would be a waste, as I wouldn't be happy with the sound anyway. In terms of sound quality, this will not compete with even an entry-level speaker setup with good quality speakers and a dedicated amp, although it is far better than virtually all of the computer speakers sold today. Think decent quality small satellites (eg Polk) driven by a consumer grade Sony amp. One other advantage of the Bose is that it can actually pump out some volume. Think decent quality small satellites (eg Polk) driven by a consumer grade Sony amp. One other advantage of the Bose is that it can actually pump out some volume. Many of the other units can't be heard over hot tub pumps, kids playing nearby, or other outdoor background noise. I've used the Bose while tailgating (where it received a lot of praise from my fellow tailgaters) at the pool, at the beach, and a couple of other noisy environments. It performs at higher volumes quite will without any noticeable distortion (although the bass is lighter relative to the highs and kids at max level). Bluetooth connectivity is a great addition- the range is quite good, and you can synch to anyone's iPhone, iPad, android tablet, laptop, etc. For a party, it's nice to be able to change tracks or volume without having to walk over to the unit. Changing the device it's paired with can be a pain if the old device is still in range. I just switch Bluetooth off on the unit I wish to de-pair until the speaker is paired with the new device. Overall I feel this is the best portable speaker out there. It delivers sound that is well balanced given the size of the unit, produces respectable volume levels without distortion, has excellent battery life, and Bluetooth connectivity. If you're only using the device indoors or in quiet environments you have a lot more options, but if you need to fill an area with respectable sound this is the way to go.
I bought this specifically to take along on cruise vacations to listen to my music on a private balcony. Skeptical at first, I'm happy to report this unit is "goods as promised."It has the amp power and enough range to get the job done in situations where Wifi streaming and AC power are unavailable. I really like rectangular "brick" design for packing as a carry on. I am a happy camper!Minor downsides: pairing with Bluetooth can be a challenge and for the audio files: Bass is not well represented. Remembering that I'm trying to create a quality portable radio, I can easily forgive any of the negatives.
it's seriously great. better than expected without the cost i appreciate you so much. save more to share more thank you!! -kate
I've owned Bose Soundlink IIs since around 2015. When they first came out, they seemed a bit overpriced, as with most new Bose products (but they are worth the money). Wait a couple of years though, and the price will come down to earth. The Soundlink II's audio quality and staging is excellent. It has excellent bass, but not boomy. It's pretty loud for a small package when playing indoors in a medium size room. Outdoors' not bad either, but lose some of its bass-end. The bluetooth works well and has some distance to it. It can also go through walls - that's where some bluetooth devices get weak in the knees and drop out, these hang in there pretty well. And there's an Aux input for connecting non-bluetooth devices, which is a bonus. It's a little on the bulky side ... MoreI've owned Bose Soundlink IIs since around 2015. It's a little on the bulky side and has a bit of heft, so not truly portable like if you want to stuff it into your backpack. I do, however, pack one in my checked bags when I travel for work as it provides excellent music entertainment in hotel rooms. Too bad Bose stopped making these, but you can still find them on eBay at very reasonable prices. The mint condition ones are still holding their value quite well. You can also find new batteries for these for around $25 on eBay, albeit most of them are aftermarket. They still work well nonetheless. I own 4 Soundlink IIs and love them.
Took 4 days to come in. Was in perfect condition. I was sincerely surprise with the quality of the speaker and it was clean and looked new. I did compare the sound with my other Bose that is more than 10 years old and either one have the quality sound expected. The pricing was way lower than any other used one I saw. Thank you again.
