Katana artist head is a beast,the effects and build quality is excellent. Boss literally thought of everything. I alsi have the fender gtx100 and it too is a great amp with great fender tones but the katana artist head is a step above with way better distortion sounds. The fender has a class d amp and the katana has a class a/b amp. Class a/b amps handle overdrive and distortions better,basically act like a tube circuit.

Use it in my studio. Sound is amazing. Can get great tone and distortion without any pedals. I use this with my Marshall 4x12 250W cab and it sounds amazing. All and all an amazing Head.
