Product is good when it works. Shortly after purchasing, the chopper cup broke (replaced) then the wand stopped working (replaced), chopper cup then broke again. Customer service started well with the first problem but ultimately proved to be unempathetic, inefficient, and overall not helpful, especially manager Michael who said why replace the chopper as it’s likely to break again!

After the much-used chopper unit on my hand blender chewed itself up (due to my clumsiness), I found myself unable to make the mole poblano (turkey in chocolate and chilli sauce) planned for the Yuletide period. Not only did this replacement do the trick quickly and efficiently, but I also bought a second spidle and blade, so the old bowl is still usable, for the odd occasion I need to mash up two pastes/pestos/whatever, Good site, easy to use.My one criticism would be the packaging. Especially the chopper blade, which could easily have come though the letter box in a jiffy bag, but was within a box within a much larger box. Packaging could have been aved and I needn't have waited in for the postie.
I bought the MQ5025 from amazon about 10 months ago. The white connection part on the lid (that connects to the stick) is broken after a few uses. Same thing happened with the hand blender attachment Last week. Now I am spending some more money and time to make it a whole unit again. Braun used to make such good products in past. I am not sure why they don’t keep up the good work.
This part replaces the chopper that was included in the Braun immersion blender set. The first chopper failed when the white plastic coupler between the blender and the blade chewed through the hole in the center of the black plastic lid. The replacement is of the same design and plastic material, so I'll have to be especially careful not to stress the chopper -- and stop the blender immediately if there is any binding. My thinking is that Braun should consider redesigning the lid or its bearing surface with stronger and more slippery plastic to ensure longer service life for this accessory. It is otherwise a very useful tool!
I have replaced this already and will not be doing so again, am going to look for a different brand. There is a little hole on the top of the blade and food WILL get stuck in there. You can try to clean it out with a q-tip but that doesn't work either. I have had to reach out to Braun customer service several times and they are extremely unhelpful in every instance with generic, canned answers.
I'm disappointed with my 1.5C Chopper Attachment. It failed at the connection between the motor and the blades shaft. Why replace my unit when it will cost me $24 plus shipping and in only has a 30 day warranty. To add insult to injury the chopper attachment has poor ratings on your website. Why purchase a replacement part that has a very poor reputation? Especially because it is only warrantied for 30 days.
I have the same problem, the plastic assembly on the chopper becomes shredded after minimal use. I've gone through two already, and as much as I really don't want to buy a third, I also don't want to replace the entire multiquick system just to get a functioning chopper.
upon first time using this chopper the inner, white cylinder that holds the blade broke. After reading others' reviews I see this is quite common and a defect in this model. It makes the entire chopper attachment unusable and ruins whatever food item is in the chopper as shards of plastic get everywhere
