This is far from accurate. Reading is always higher than 37.5 even when other thermometers read 35 or 36 degrees. I bought this because my son is having chemo but it is terribly unreliable and how can it be any good for COVID19 temperature testing. I’m very annoyed and have wasted a huge amount of money for such a poor product. Chemist Warehouse will not accept the product back as being faulty. Very angry about this.

Very inaccurate and always adds up to the real temperature. I was going to take my 4 weeks old baby to emergency because it gave me a wrong temp of 39C. Do not recommend. It doesn’t worth the money And I’m not using it anymore.

After having gallstones removed my dr told me to keep my eye on my temps for any signs of a fever as it could mean a reinfection. My old no name ear thermometer had no lights and I struggled to read the results which seemed random. So I purchased this Braun where I can clearly see my temperature and also be alerted if I am developing a fever. So accurate and readable that I wonder why I didn’t buy this ages ago.Highly recommend this and worth every cent.

Decent, but a bit annoying with having to select the age group everytime. Besides that everything else is good. Even the alarm when temperature goes above normal range and colour indicator.
Inaccurate. Unfortunately the product isn’t fit for purpose as it can’t give you an accurate reading. I had fever today and the Braun only recorded 37 when I had over 39c. Unacceptable and dangerous.
Purchased this thermometer as I though it would be great for a tiny new born to not have to shove things under their arms or ears. Although kept giving me false high temps. It really depends how close/far it is and where on the forehead you place it. With a wiggly new born this is difficult and it takes wayyy to long for the reading to come up. I switched to the infrared Braun ear thermometer so much better.
I was reasonably happy with this purchase until I read Choice's July 2022 thermometers test. This model did not make the recommended list and failed to achieve its claimed accuracy level. The top rating thermometer was the Oricom HFS1000 for about the same price.
Simply doesn’t work and gives you wild and varying temperatures. Couldn’t believe it considering its price tag. Better off using the back of my hand on the baby’s forehead! Don’t waste your money.
Very unreliable- reads a different temperature every time. We ended up taking our 4 week old daughter to emergency because this thermometer told us she had a temperate of 38.3°C (we checked her temperature dozens of times, as the reading changed dramatically every time). After a blood test and a catheter, the Senior Doctor told us there was nothing wrong with her, the problem was the inaccuracy of this thermometer (which we had bought less than two weeks before). All medical professionals we have spoken to since then have told us to save our money and buy an under arm thermometer.
We got vastly different temperature readings each use. Cross-checked with another thermometer and the Braun was always out. Returned to the store as it really didn't do what it's supposed to.
