I was actually replacing a ten cup rice cooker , also Breville , which was well over 20 years old !!!! Who said nothing lasts anymore!!! The smaller cooker is nice and compact and is one appliance I would never be without , too easy

Just a rice cooker, nothing fancy which is what we need, but it does what it’s supposed to do. Happy customer for now. We had a Breville before this and it lasted for 9 yrs and it’s still working but the Teflon has started to chip off so needs a replacement. Hopefully this one lasts as long.

I have used this brand of Set and Serve Rice Cooker for many years. They are reliable and efficient and the only slight criticism is that the non stick coating starts to wear after a few years. The set itiself seems to be more or less everlasting. A speedy and efficient appliance which is also useful for reheating food and steaming vegetables at the same time s cooking rice. Multi purpose in effect.

Read other reviews to help decide on this brand for purchase. Fairly happy but have found need more water than states in info booklet. Advice is to test over many cooks until you get it how you like it. There is no need to rest rice after cook time, ready to eat straight away. Affordable price and trusted brand, recommend.
I am very happy with this rice cooker. Cooks perfectly. We use it four times a week. I was worried about the splitting water when boiling, but it works clean.One hint to have nice and fluffy rice(Jasmin rice): add two third extra cups of water to the ratio. e.g. 3 cups rice need 3 + 2/3 cups of water.I have just doubt about the capacity. The maximum number of cups I cooked is four; however, I am not sure what happens (in terms of result and cleanliness) when seven cups of rice cook in there.
This is an excellent product from Breville. It was bought to replace an old one that had already completed 13 or 14 years service. This new one is such a treat to use.The purchase and delivery experience from Myer was faultless.
Incredibly impressed with this rice cooker. We use our rice cooker a few times per week. This one was bought to replace a Kambrook one that was slightly bigger in capacity and dimension but WOW! This Breville one is so much more impressive - perfect rice every time, faster cooking and easier to manage. All round better in every way. A stand-out for the price!
This was a replacement of a previous Breville rice cooker, cooks perfect rice quickly, is a small compact unit which is a great space saver but still cooks large quantities of fluffy rice. Steamer basket great as well.
This rice cooker is so user friendly and being used by all members of my family. From just a portion of rice with steamed vegetables- cooked at the same time - to making a large supply which stays warm due to this nifty function.Easy to clean, not too bulky so stays on kitchen bench no problem!
Perfectly cooked brown rice, easy to clean and not bulky to store. So much better than gas stovetop, watching for the boil, setting timer, cleaning up leaks from the lid. Not only can I switch and forget, but I'm reducing emissions, as I use green electricity.
