I've grown up with this particular model from my early middle teens and since that whole time it's been a trendy and perfect kettle. It looks perfect in every kitchen and is hard to mark/scratch. It boils fairly quickly too. The finish beeping tone is quite nice too, kind of like a baby bird chirping 3 times. It's ability to boil water at different temps is great, though regardless of temperature (and as a great safety feature) it boils with some noise to start and eases off as its finished. Definite buy if it fits within your budget or wait for a sale or promotion

Pro: Purchased to replace my 7 year old kettle (same brand/model) which had regular use. I choose prior kettle due to durability, style (stainless, slimline), lid easily accessible to clean inside (not same on tapered model) with easy grip/hold handle and easy to remove/replace spout filter. I enjoy choosing different settings for my herbal versus black tea or coffee for visitors if needed. A simple boil with a little white vinegar every 6mths (and follow-up boil with water only) removes any scale build-up (nothing else needed). Button electronics just started playing up a little recently (good value for price versus longevity/use) so purchased same model now whilst still available as loved and wanted same. Con: As lid is plastic/glass & hinge is different plastic, to ensure no damage to hinge (no need to - but if open immediately after boil cannot immediate close without forcing close & if do likely may damage over time) - so recommend user ensures enough water in kettle to boil for required cups prior to boiling, then just allow to naturally cool enough before next refill - simple. This ensures any steam build up under lid (i.e. plastic expanding etc.) clears and cools, hinge is relaxed then and opens/closes normally - this is literally only issue to remember. Worst case if do need to quickly add water just after recently boiling kettle, I just slowly add via spout (remembering mesh filter) and that does the trick without compromising the lid hinge. Once you get use to it, you understand - but small issue once you in habit of just adding enough water prior to boiling, and you love when it boils and beeps to let you know.

It was exhaustively used for the raising of our bottle fed 2 children where bottles require continuous washing, sterilising and making formula all while without a dish washer. It never missed a beat until we chose to replace it for aesthetics in 2019 and regretted it ever since. Key features of the kettle we love is the rapid boil compared to the other brand. It is quieter, quicker and easy to wipe clean. The only gripe with the design is the inner lip of the lid does pool condensation and water which does display a surface looking rust that doesn't effect it's operation/performance.
