Byredo - Fleur Fantome Candle - 240g

First let me state that I am a lover of luxe candles, like Diptyque, Jo malone, and Byredo. I think Byredo makes very fine quality candles and is on plane with the big dogs.that does not mean that I have enjoyed every Byredo candle I'Ve tried. in fact I have really disliked some.I read that Fleur Fantome was a vdry "green" floral, and thus I had real reservations about buying it unskilled because I tend to dislike green scents (like Figuier).but I am loving Fleur and wanted to describe for people unsure about it too.as soon as I unwrapped the candle I felt as if I had a very fresh and green smoothie in front of me. it's not necessarily "tooti frutti" type, sweet as anything, smoothie but more of a fresh smoothie with things like ginger and sharp acidic fruits. ... MoreFirst let me state that I am a lover of luxe candles, like Diptyque, Jo malone, and Byredo. A delicate smell, works well for small rooms

I love Byredo scents but they can be a bit overwhelming in small rooms, I got this after seeing that it had a more delicate scent and it delivered!It has a lovely floral scent that lasts for a few hours after burning, would just recommend having a long initial burn to avoid tunnelling.

Absolutely divine

I adore this candle. Some reviewers have said the fragrance throw is weak but It don’t find that to be the case although I do burn it mainly in my bedroom.

Another beauty from Byredo

This was the first candle I bought from Byredo and has remained a firm favourite. It’s suxh a delicate, beautiful smell that still manages to infuse a room. I love this kind of fresh floral scent. As with all Byredo products the packaging is gorgeous. If I could afford to I’d fill my house with Byredo candles!

Beautiful

I love walking by this candle and catching little hints of the scent when it’s not alight. When it is alight, it smells heavenly and refined without being overpowering. I’ve been leery of candles that put off too much scent (Diptyque) because they are toxic to your lungs, and certainly feel like it by making me cough and sneeze. This one is special because it smells so nice, but doesn’t hurt my lungs. Not a cheap smell either — complex and floral.

Fair floral scented candle

This is my first time purchasing a candle from the house of Byredo and I has a high hope on it. The scent is light and fair feminie, it's not too heavy floral scent that might be easily taken by the mass. I personally prefer most woody scent but most of the Byredo candles I preferred were sold out during sale. Would try out the tree house and the library one next time.

Nice but weak

As others have mentioned, the throw of this candle isn't the best, I don't mind this too much because I think it's nice to have a subtle scent in smaller rooms or rooms where you don't need scent to be so intense. Some byredo candles are so strong (bibliotheque for example) I can't burn them for too long. This is a lovely fresh floral scent, with hints of lemon. I think it's meant to be similar to the la tulipe perfume. I enjoyed it, I would say it's suitable for a bedroom or home office.

Stylish design but not very strong fragrance

I hyave bought several Byredo candles before with Burning Rose being a particular favourite. However with the advent of Spring wanted something fresher. This comes in the same stylish packaging and the black wax gives a contemporary feel. However this is a VERY VERY light fragrance. I don't want to be overpowered but you have to be really close to this to sense the aroma. I want a candle that gives sufficient aroma to the room to influence the ambience and sadly this one doesn't. I will go back to Diptyque Mimosa for when I want that light white floral aroma.

Unique and divine scent!

When I first bought this candle I was unsure about the scent. However, the unique scent quickly grew on me and to date have bought over 20 of these. Absolutely love it! It is rather strong so it’s very economical. Smells like a beautiful bunch of violets. Would definitely recommend.

Unique and subtle floral scent

Fleur Fantome is a beautiful, gentle, unique floral scent. This is not a strong scent - as with most Byredo candles - and would work better in smaller spaces. If you are looking for a subtle floral scent, not an overpowering one, then is the one for you. The combination of floral notes is wonderful, it is so uplifting and unique. The black jar is stunning, and the wax burns evenly throughout. Love it!
