Being an X-Rite user for over a decade, I was ready to upgrade to the Calibrite version. Accurately profiling and calibrating my BenQ displays is vital in Lightroom Classic.I always use the Large Patches, and on all three of my displays - the two BenQs and the MacBook Pro. When complete, all three match so closely it's easy to call it perfect. My eyes can't see the difference. But that's why we use hardware for making ICC profiles!I recommend to all my students of night photography that they also invest in a colorimeter form Calibrite. If you are editing on a display that has not been profiles and calibrated, you are starting from a point that is not color, contrast or brightness neutral. And it only gets worse from there. For me, this is now a habit like ...Β MoreBeing an X-Rite user for over a decade, I was ready to upgrade to the Calibrite version. Great tool for calibration of my Macbook Pro M2 and BenQ PD2725U...together with the Calibrite software

Purchased it directly from Calibrite. I also have their ColorChecker Display Plus. It's the same issue for both. Whatever they did with their software. it doesn't work. AT ALL. Calibrite Profiler version 1.2.3 is stuck on the loading screen forever. Version 1.3.2 says Application Failed to Lunch and Quits. I talked with the customer service. They tried to help, I tried everything they said. I tried unplugging everything from my pc, I tried using only one monitor, I tried reformatting my pc, all freshly installed. Still, ID DOESN'T WORK. So, what's the point of having an advance color calibration device with the worst software ever? At this point this is useless, and worth nothing. Completely garbage at this point.

It is a fabulous calibrator. Software just takes some patience to figure out but give yourself some time and it does a great and thorough job.
I was keen to upgrade from my existing Colour Munki but I was told correct software was not available. That is some months ago so I'll try your service department to check whether it's now available
Seemed to do the job. Only complaint, coming from an older x-rite Colormunki, the calibration software for the HL Colorimeter looks like it was coded by a high school student. The older x-rtie product had a more polished interface and was a bit easier to understand.
Purchased this unit to upgrade my old XRite device and correctly calibrate MacBook Pro display. Works as advertised and USB-C is a nice touch. Delivery was fast and FedEx stopped asking for signature !
Used in a professional environment to make sure 3 editors have screens that are all accurate and match. Working with photos and video that have subjects(vehicles) that are important to get accurate colors.Have previously used a Spyder 5 Elite and decided to try a different brand. Overall the product is good, the cable length of the device is just long enough to reach the farthest monitor in a 3 monitor setup when using the front USB ports. The only complaint that I've docked a star for is the Calibrite software can be problematic occasionally. I recall having an problem initially getting the software to recognize and register the device to the software the first time.
Having used a Spyder previously, I can say overall this product seems to be a little quicker and offer more functionality than the previous Spyder Colorimeter. I'm only docking 1 star because the software can sometimes be finicky in its startup recognizing the device or slow to apply color profiles on pc startup.
Well made and works great, but...Read their software license as it's quite restrictive and I think they changed it recently. As best as I can tell, you can only profile stuff you personally own. Datacolor has a less restrictive license. The software doesn't seem to do in-monitor LUT profiling for Viewsonic and others. You'll need the manufacturers software for that, but the unit seems to work fine with that software too.
