I like to take krill oil in addition to my cod liver oil for my omega 3s. I also give it to my teenagers. Krill oil naturally contains the ingredient astaxanthin, a highly effective antioxidant. The Antarctic Krill by California GOLD Nutrition is a softgel capsule coated with the natural flavors of lemon and strawberry to help mask the natural krill oil aroma. The plastic bottle has two security seals: a band of plastic shrink wrap covering the outside of the lid, while a heat induction foil seal is used to cover the bottle neck underneath the aforementioned lid. The bottle contains 120 servings of softgel capsules which are to be taken orally, preferably with food. Once opened the bottle will release a shrimp-like odour which is unlikely to ever fade over time. The individual pills are ellipsoid in shape and have a translucent dark crimson colour. I am not sure that it is making any changes to my health or wellness, so I'm giving it 3 stars.

Whenever I miss my doses for a few days, my eyes feel dry. I take those pills before or after meals and they work wonders. I also take my prescription medications and they don't seem to interfere, they have synergistic effects and help my prescriptions as well.
