Uhh, the bottle says it is 'gentle and non-constipating'. In my experience, this is untrue.I tried with food and without food. After taking 1 tablet, my lower gut would get quite violent bubbling feelings and I'd be constipated for a few days.My body hasn't had this response with any other type of iron supplements before.I didn't want to waste them, so I tried splitting them in half. That didn't work because the powder tastes awful - unless you like the taste of blood. But beware doing this, my partner took the other half and it stained all of his teeth brown. So now we have to visit the dentist too.Epic FAIL!
