Whatever. Plus, This game is absolutely frustrating to play if your connection is sub- par. Yes, the online gameplay is predictable, but semi- refreshing. Yes, the shotguns aren't as powerful and yes, the maps are cramped with buildings that dampen the potency of airborne kill-streaks. And yes, it feels like Modern Warfare 2 without "stopping power." So on and so on. Blah, blah, blah. It's COD. What you've seen is what you get. Whatever. But I am giving this 5 stars because I personally enjoy this game. Don't let this review be the defining factor in whether or not you decide to spend forty bucks (or however much you're going to pay). If you want a more in- depth analysis, go ahead and type "Call of Duty" into Youtube.Com's search bar. I mean, it's fun to rack up kills, but it isn't fun to be killed ten times in a row. I've only played the campaign a bit, so I ca.

Main Menu gives you three options. Campaign which we've all played, Multiplayer and Special Ops.Not a whole lot to add to what everyone else has said about it. It definitely feels "plotted out for you". You get into some of the later missions and their is not a real flow to it. You've shot for awhile, now it's time to be a sniper or use the AC130 or Helicopter. Overall I give the Campaign a 3.Multiplayer the guys are professionals. Play at your own risk.Spec Ops is where this game hits a triple. Either on line or splitscreen. You can run Solo also. You have three choices within Spec Ops to play. Either alone or with a splitscreen or online friend you have to survive wave after wave of attack and each wave gets more difficult. You fight local insurgents, troops, helos, bomb carrying insurgents and dogs, and the dreaded juggernaut(s). On easy it's mission 6 before you get to battle a pair of helos and just helos. Its wave 10 before you encounter a juggernaut. On 15 its 2, and 20 its 3 juggernauts. On the insane level its wave 3 and you're battling everything at once. The Maps: Most are some sort of cityscape. However, some are harder to defend than others and it wasn't truly applied to the level of difficulty. For example one insane scape is perfect for evading and defending. One less difficult level has an incredibly d.

This game is what you would expect form Call of Duty, the game play has not really changed, but the changes that have been made have had an interesting affect on the multiplayer aspect of the game. The way kill streaks are figured now is much more flexible depending on your style of game play which makes the game a more fun for players like me that get killed a lot. The spawn points seem to get a little crowded sometimes in this version, it seems that a lot of times you will spawn within seconds of someone else in the same spot, which can be good or bad depending on if your in front or in back. Also the guns and their attachments take some getting used to because their ratings have changed yet again, which keeps the challenge up of trying to find your favorite gun. ... MoreThis game is what you would expect form Call of Duty, the game play has not really changed, but the changes that have been made have had an interesting affect on the multiplayer aspect of the game. This is really 3.5 stars, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt.I don't play the online multiplayer mode, so if you're like me and want the game to stand on its own, it does deliver in some respects.I initially played the campaign and some of the survival maps but that really didn't do anything for me. It's a decent game, but MW2 it's definitely not. The Spec Ops in MW2 were awesome and I was hoping that they'd recaptured that same type of gameplay in MW3.Turns out the global missions are similar. They're definitely not as creative or fun as the Spec Ops from MW2, but they are fun nonetheless. I've recently gone back and played some of the Spec Ops from MW2 to give myself a refresher and then tried MW3 again. While MW2 really stands out as a much better game, I did have fun playing MW3 and I'm continuing to play the global missions to complete all on veteran. So, while the campaign wasn't great and the survivor missions are somewhat fun, the global missions are really the only thing that makes the game worth buying... and if you can get it for a good price and are missing the action that MW2 had to offer, MW3 is worth a play.Oh, I also went back and tried Black Ops again... buying that game has to be the worst decision I ever made. There's nothing fun in the single player about that game and I couldn't even finish the campaign it was so bad.
Singleplayer: I found it stunning from the graphics to the actually story line. MW3 never gave you a break from gunfire, our heart strings. IT was as if they put together a movie and let you control the star. The controls were smooth and the Objective pure and simple. Luckily I saved my air strike for just this occasion. In closing I found the game to be one of the most enjoyable I have played this year. I am quite sad however that it did seem like the closed the door at the end to any other possibilities of a sequel. But they did so with diginity and honor.Have fun, and keep gaming.
Modern Warfare III (2023) is an adrenaline-fueled masterpiece that truly raises the bar for the FPS genre. From its gripping campaign to its intense multiplayer modes, this game delivers non-stop action and excitement. The graphics are stunning, immersing you in realistic battlegrounds like never before. The gameplay mechanics are smooth and responsive, allowing for seamless control over your character. The addition of new weapons and customization options adds depth to the experience, keeping gameplay fresh and engaging. Whether you're a seasoned veteran or new to the series, Modern Warfare III offers something for everyone. Highly recommended for any FPS fan looking for their next gaming obsession!
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 encompasses a wide range of elements. When attempting to achieve this, some aspects fare well while others suffer, exemplifying the inherent challenges. The annual release schedule doesn't contribute to refining the overall experience; instead, it tends to leave certain aspects inadequately developed. While it doesn't necessarily smoothen the rough edges, it inadvertently results in certain elements being hastily implemented. My unsolicited suggestion to Activision would be to either maintain a continuous game model, similar to Fortnite, or adopt a less frequent release schedule with a couple of years between each installment.
There was a lot of fuss about how this was labeled as the "worst campaign in Call Of Duty history," and I'm quite convinced that's why many fellow game journalists gave this game such a low score. However, was it truly the worst? In my opinion, it was merely okay—nothing exceptional and admittedly rushed, but not deserving of the "worst" title. I found it comparable to the enjoyable yet nonsensical campaign of Modern Warfare II. Activision and their studios should invest some serious effort into improving their scripts, as both of these campaigns represented a significant decline in quality compared to Modern Warfare 2019.
