I have had this printer for over a year and a half I am still hoping I will grow fond of it but unfortunately that is not the case. I have had the canon pixma pros for the past twenty years and every time they update it to a new model it gets worst. This model is very inconsistent, when it prints it is great but it seems to have a mind of its own. I use it in my stationery store for stationery, invitations etc.. and if it wasn't so expensive I would replace it. Just now I am printing foldover notes and half of them printed fine and all of a sudden it detects paper size incompatibility and stops printing. All I get is a blank paper. I have owned this printer for 5 months , the color is amazing and detailed. I even printed a 600x900 pixel web photo come out amazing. Save your money forget about the pro 300 or epson p700. those other printers are pigment printers , however the pro200 is just as. good in quality even black and white. the game changer is that the dye ink will last long pat 100 years even up to 200. SO that means you can use for archival business or photos u want to keep and hand down, Don take my word google search this printer u will get people love it. Only complaint doesn't support roll paper LOVE LOVE THIS PRINTER .

Easy to follow set up instructions along with links to videos for step-by-step set up. A good-looking piece of equipment and I'm still learning how best to use all of its features. So far, all of the challenges have been a function of my ignorance of the capabilities of such a quality printer. Particularly, integrating it into the various programs on my desktop computer. Nevertheless, the quality of the prints on Canon paper cannot be questioned. Clearly, this printer is a big step up in light of the many low end printers that I've owned.
