Just arrived today. I haven't had a chance to really test it out yet but the few pictures I have taken seem very sharp. The size is pleasantly light and compact compared to what I was expecting and certainly compared to the previous EF f2.8 II that I rented previously. I really just wanted to be the first to review this on here.

Beautiful lens with a practical zoom. I love the versatility of this lens and the overall construction/build. It feels solid in the hand and pairs quite well with the stabilization. Only downside it’s a bit more pricey than I would have liked. Highly recommended though.

A bit bulky, but truly a do-it-all lens. Sharp, beautiful. Put it in the body and leave it there. Expensive, but Canon is moving in the direction of the RF mount so truly an investment
I already owned a Canon EF 24-70mm F/2.8, but it lacked OIS and the RF had been purchased primarily for its stabilization. That said, I am finding that it renders beautifully, its OIS is quite effective on a camera without IBIS, and it is nice and sharp.
My first RF lens! So this is what it?s like to not have to take 3 to 4 shots to get tack sharp eye focus - and to do this silently with IS. Love it! Expensive but worth it. This for sure is my new favorite piece of glass.
Awesomely sharp lens. Autofocus makes almost no noise. No control ring required. Used on a Canon R5.
The new 24-70 is incredible. It hasn’t left my camera since I got it. The focus is sharp as a tack and the zoom is smooth like butter. I also didn’t think I would love the added control ring of the RF line as much as I do. Canon really stepped their game up with the RF line.
Lens is a typical canon 24-70. AMAZING! Love it’s versatility and it’s actually not as heavy as I thought it would be. Very sharp.
