Casio G9000-1V G-Shock Mudman Mens Watch

Very simple watch not to bulky And not to Gody. I use my watch daily and for work. It’s been dropped, bumped against surfaces and in water. Backlight is awesome and the Alarm to wake up 👍. The red buttons gives the watch a classy look. Not to mention.. it’s a G shock!!! I’ve must have looked at hundreds of watches from they way look, to simple needs that would best fit what i was looking in a watch. This 9000 mudman is by far the best watch I’ve owned.. 2/28/21

A cleaner's review

I am a professional cleaner. So at any time, I might be scrubbing floors, doing laundry, etc. Also, I like to garden when I have the time. I need a watch that I can put on and forget about. The Mudman is certainly housework proof. Also, the various count up and count down timers are very useful (especially on a break). I like the that the watch has four different alarms and that the count down timer is programmable. This is not just a watch for athletes or basic training, it is a watch for anyone who has their hands in soap, water, dirt, and pretty much madness all day long.

A good buy

This is my second G-Shock Mudman. The first lasted 15 years of constant use both below and above water, sand, mud, high and below zero temperatures. It's robust and the drift is well below Casio's specification of 15 seconds per month. Its roughly 3 seconds per month. An accurate time piece.

Better than any smart watch

What a contrast compared to smart watches today. Imagine, I don't need to charge it every day! Tells the time and date, tells time in another part of the globe, no need to sync, no complex steps to follow to get an alarm setup, no more hassles with bluetooth/wifi, 200m water resistant (mud proof too) and looks great to boot at a very reasonable price point. Can't recommend this enough!

Casio a good watch for the price.

Good watch, wish I had one when I was in the Army. Always had a Casio when I was in the Army, but was the cheap one, $19 and never would die. I would wear them until the band would break and then give it to my wife to use for work. She even washed and dried one and after it cooled off, it worked fine. Yes, Casio are cheap watch's, but they work and for what you get for the price you can not beat them. If you want a watch that you can beat on and not have to wear your good watch, Casio is it.

Good Basic Watch

Recently bought this with pound accrued through previous purchases for a trip to the beach. The buttons were a little hard to push at first but over the week they became easier. I had a Apple Watch which I gave to my son because I was tired of being overly mindful of my watch. This dose what I need it to do tell time and take a beating in the process!

Great Watch

Finally decided to quit wearing my Tag's while working on cars or doing DIY stuff around the house. I was looking for something tough enough to handle auto fluids, mud,dirt and other things that it would be exposed to. I also didn't need temp, altitude, compass or any extras. So far I've done sheet rocking, texture, paint, mortar, tile, grout, oil change, carb rebuild and other odd jobs with no ill effects. Buttons are double sealed. Take shower with it on and it cleans right up. I have small wrists but big hands so it's not too large looking. If you have small wrists and hands it may be a little clunky but you'll probably get used to it.

I love it

Great watch if you're looking for rugged reliability. The buttons are pretty tough to operate, but that's the keep mud from getting in the housing. 5 alarms and there's a double flash for every new hour if you use that feature. The negative backlight is difficult to read in low lighting, but that's to be expected. I highly recommend this Mudman.

Mud Is Good If It's A Watch

I bought this watch for one of my 17 year old high school grandson's for his birthday. He plays baseball for his high school and for a show-case team that plays in tournaments the year 'round. When he's not playing ball or studying, he's on some kind of a weight lifting work out program / cardiac improving activity constantly. Because of all of that and just the normal carelessness and forgetfulness of a teenager......I felt he needed a watch that could really take a pounding with little to no maintenance on his part and still get him to class and/or home on time. So far, he loves it and it's working out perfectly for him. Thanks; Guy

Ultimate watch to have

Like the looks of the Casio g9000. True to buttons are a little harder to push - but that is expected of a new watch. Also, I prefer it that way or in case I bump it into something - it is not easily changing my set screen where I want it. The light up on screen is the best I have seen on this watch compare to others. Best value for the functions/form you get on this watch. Best purchase made.
