All of my previous bibs were Louis Garneau sublimated with cycling club graphics and text.The Entrata does a good job. I read through the reviews and was almost deterred from buying these, due to all of the griping about their sizing. As it turns out, most of those complaints are probably the result of not taking a minute to take a few measurements before buying a $150ish piece of cycling kit. I'm of average build--34 waist and 5'10 height..I absolutely do not have a "climber" or "sprinter" build,nor a dad bod and fit into a pair of mediums--albeit a snug fit. After reading the previous reviews, I went to try these on in store before buying these shorts and they fit just like any other Castelli product. In fact, they fit more true to their size charts than usual. (Do not have to size up!)It could still be that the larger sizes fit on the smaller size, but I am about a size small and the size small fits perfectly, the mediums were a bit loose at the waist and perfect on the legs, and the extra smalls were tight to move in but I could still squeeze into them.Other comments:- They are between high-waisted and normal-waisted.- Not see-through upon bending and squatting.- They do not ride up into bum after squatting and moving around in them.- Snug fit in all positions and seems like it will stay put for a full day ... MoreAfter reading the previous reviews, I went to try these on in store before buying these shorts and they fit just like any other Castelli product. Overall good for the price.Fit is pretty standard castelli. I'm shorter at 5'5 so no issues with the strap length but good to keep in mind that these are designed for use on the bike and will break in with use.I can wear either small or medium (30 waist 31.5 hip) small if I want more compression snugger aero kind of fit or medium for more general use. Road with mediums on my longest ride to date at 250km so they are long ride worthy. Real difference with competizone ones is the level off compression so not necessary worth the extra cost. So for most one size up should do it though we're all different...Pad is great. Preferable to the more expensive castelli or PI options with good support and padding without feeling overly bulky. I'm relatively new to cycling community, bought my first gravel bike in April. I've been riding a few times a week on my bike and needed a short that was comfortable for both long and short rides. I usually average about 15 miles per ride, have gone as far as 40 miles on a ride. These shorts are fantastic, the fit is really nice and comfortable and the chamois is really comfortable as well. I have a stockier build and thicker legs and the Medium is a nice fit. They dry incredibly fast and the grippers at the bottom of the short really hug your legs, but not too tight to rip your leg hair off. So far its been warm weather here in CO on my rides in the mid 70s to high 80s, and these breathe really well and don't get super hot. I use a number of Castelli products, and am normally very happy with them. These shorts have the lower grade Kiss pad, which i think is better, as it 'comes up' a bit more at the front! [warmth and modesty] I normally buy medium, and these are slightly tighter in this size the other Castelli shorts i have had. Good service from Sigma, details received on when despatched, easy to order on line, and they arrived at my place in Kenya in 7 days
I have the long version of these shorts (the bib tights) and they are amazing - by far the best tights I've ever ridden on the bike. I was expecting the same from the shorts but they are average. This might be testament to my other DHB pairs. Also, the tights are nice and comfy in Medium. I needed Large for the shorts, which was a bit of a hassle returning to Sigma (all free postage thank you).

I'm 168 cm tall, and by all the measurements in the chart, I *should* be an XS, but the S fits me perfectly. So, if you're on the fence for what size to get, get the larger size for sure. There is a tiny difference in the length of the shoulder straps between the two sizes. Spending a few hours in these out in the road would be like torture.
