Bought MyQ connectivity kit as an alternative to having multiple remote openers. Works well in operating the door however there is a lag in notification of opener activation. But.... Documented help to connect to Google Home doesn't match MYQ app options. MyQ server (off in a cloud somewhere) has random down time which means app can't find opener and so door can't be remotely operated. Always have an alternative means of opening the door..

Had this for 18 months now and it is practically useless, no siri, google assistant integration and there never will be, will not tell you if your garage has been left open. The MyQ functionality in Australia does not exist as it does for My Q outside of Australia, don't be fooled - look for an ad accessory that will support the automation and tech landscape so you do not end of up with an obsolete product. Branding very misleading.

One thing to note I missed out previously: This unit works with any Chamberlain or Merlin opener that has a model number then ends MYQ, not just those listed in the description.

The gateway provides what I need for connecting my internet to the opener. The sensor took a bit of time to work out but it works well after installation. Note that there is basically no way to disable the sensor, otherwise it will only allow you to control opening not closing.
I bought this a week ago to complement a new Merlin MS105 garage door opener (Commander elite). Had that installed; and bought this Internet kit and self installed it. Firstly, very complete kit. Easy to install gateway device to internet. connects with bluetooth to opener. App on phone (Iphone IOS for me) works very well with coowner, guest roles, a log of openings etc. Impressive overall, and reliable.
Purchased with the Chamberlain RollerLift Plus Roller Garage Door Opener (CR855MYQ) which apparently is compatible with the MyQ connectivity kit. But the doco and the accompanying phone app does NOT say which button on the Door Opener is the learning remote. Called local support and they said this was the Yellow S button on the Door Opener.
Had the myQ installed as part of a replacement garage door system. What a wonderful product - so easy to check if garage door has been closed when I’m away from the home. Works so well. Also great if you have forgotten to take remote - can easily open/close door from phone. Also been handy when we have had deliveries from our tradies for our reno - I didn’t need to wait around m, they just called when they arrived and I opened the garage door remotely for them - such a wonderful time saver
I purchased this gateway for my merlin door opener. The setup of the Garway was very easy via MyQ app. The beam setup needs a bit of effort for wiring but was straightforward. Please note that the beam is optional but you will only be able to open the garage door from the mobile app. You will not be able to close the garage door from the app until you install the safety beam that comes in the box. I am talking about my Merlin garage door opener.
Works fine. only comes with one pair of sensors so will only do one door. additional doors require additional sensors ordered. the Reviews that say this product can not work with Siri and google assistant are wrong. this can be used with Siri using a proxy application such as homebridge, some googling will show how to set that up. the sensors are needed to be wired up for the door to close. don't let your builder tell you otherwise
Works fine, installation was OK, the internet connectivity is good, thought it does take about 3 seconds to connect. When I hit the close button on my android phone the garage door opener's light flashes for about 5 seconds then starts to move, so it is slower than the regular remote control
