As soon as I take a sniff, the first thing that strikes me about this fragrance is fresh, green, and slightly bitter opening. I can detect a strong presence of galbanum, which gives it a green, herbal scent that reminds me of freshly cut grass or leaves. There are also hints of bergamot and neroli, which add citrusy and floral touch. As the fragrance develops, the floral heart notes become more prominent, mainly the iris and the rose. Chanel has my heart!! I love their perfumes and colognes!! Their products are amazing but expensive! This is very classic perfume for an older lady! It’s for warm weather type perfume! it smells classic! I highly recommend it!!

This is truly a beautiful, beautiful smell. Never in my life have I had more people compliment how I smell and ask what I am wearing. It's incredibly long lasting, which to me justifies the price tag, and smells like a perfect mixture of fresh, cleanness, florals and that soft musk that makes No.5 so addictive. It's fairly ageless- I, at 20 wear it, and my mother in her 50's does as well. It's clean and uncomplicated but enchanting. I encourage anyone who loves the Soft Floral scent palette to try this scent; I would compare it with No.5 Eau Premiere/L'Eau as the closest "relative" scent palette, and it has a slightly Glossier You meets Narcisco Rodriguez Pure Musc "adapts to you" aspect.

I am so in love with this eclectic perfume. I do not smell much green like others do. It smells very powdery and very sweet to myself. It carries the essence of the perfect Chanel fragrance, imo. I love how it smells against my skin, but I will say it doesn’t have great lasting power. It is however, a pleasant surprise and a unique addition to the Chanel Collection. Hands down my most favorite of all time. It has that type of quality that leaves you hooked. I definitely recommend you try this fragrance for its sweet and floral combination.

I love Chanel for her powdery scents! This fragrance has sweet green, iris notes, which is so unique and special. For such a long time this has been my favorite Chanel fragrance. Maybe it’s just me, but I feel the 100ml smells different than the 3.4 larger size. The larger size seems more powdery to me for some reason. But I’m in heaven when I wear this fragrance. Green, flowery, and mixed with powder notes. I recommend you to try this amazing perfume. You’ll be so happy you did!

Orange and mandarin notes settle into a cool iris and hyacinth note, infusing No 19 Poudré with fruity sweetness. A contrast is created between galbanum and vetiver's sharp green notes and the powdery notes' softness and lightness. Tonka beans and musk dominate the dry down. The initial impression is of a fabulous veil of powder, but the dry down is reminiscent of a delicate cashmere wrap. Although it is not particularly noteworthy or dramatic at this point, it is pleasant and easy to wear. Poudré shares some similarities with its predecessor, but only for a second. Although not particularly interesting, the vetiver is blended with a very soft, clean musk, which is quite pleasant. Despite staying close to the skin for most of the day, the base lasts a good few hours. This is not a bad fragrance, all the notes blend nicely, and it smells like a pretty green floral of high quality. Probably not for N°19 fans, Poudré is much softer and lighter, but for those who find the original too harsh, it may be worth a try.

Today I wore another beauty from Chanel and another happy scent of mine it is one of my ultimate favourites from Chanel.It is elegant , sophisticated , sensual and classy. it’s the perfect harmony of vibrant, green notes and soft, powdery notes of Iris with an earthy notes to make a rich, smooth and a sensual composition.there is also some floral notes. Top notes are Galbanum, Neroli and Mandarin Orange; middle notes are iris and Jasmine; base notes are Vetiver, Musk and Tonka Bean.

Mamma’s Signature Fragrance

Beautiful, classic Chanel 19 is my 96 year old Mother’s signature scent. Purchased by myself, brother & 2 sisters as a Christmas gift for our beautiful, classic Mamma. She was thrilled to bits. I was rather disappointed that Myer Chanel did not include any samples. If this very expensive perfume had been bought at the Chanel counter then I have absolutely no doubt that some lovely samples would have been included. So, this will be the last time that I buy perfume via the “click & collect” service.

Typically Gorgeous Chanel

Chanel and Prada have some of the best perfumes. This is my favorite Chanel, literally like a powdery version of Chanel #19. If you know and like Prada's Infusion D'Iris, also a powdery perfume, you will most likely enjoy this. This Chanel goes on very strong, but like most perfumes I love, it does not last long except to stay close to the skin. This is not an offensively strong perfume that will fill a room. For an expensive smelling, refined, but typically Chanel perfume, this seems like a good value to me.
