I’m wearing Charlotte Tilbury’s Bigger, Brighter (Exxagereyes) eyeshadow palette which features an ivory-cream, rose-gold, red-brown and a sparkle shade to make eyes appear bigger and brighter. I have to mention this first and foremost if you don’t know already I am more willing to spend a lot on skincare than makeup. Why? I feel like there are so many inexpensive, decent brands out there that I don’t feel the need to spend a lot on makeup. And if you’re good at doing makeup it really doesn’t matter what you use in most cases. I mention this because I do like this eyeshadow palette a lot but I wouldn’t buy it again just because I think it’s too much money ($53.00 to be exact). I mention this because I do like this eyeshadow palette a lot but I wouldn’t buy it again just because I think it’s too much money ($53.00 to be exact). Having said that, this palette and the case itself feels very high end. These are very wearable, soft colors perfect for day or night (but more suitable for day in my opinion). I am a stickler for shimmers and this one delivers. The palette colors do make my eyes look more awake and brighter so it definitely lives up to its claims. There is very little fall out and the fact that the eyeshadows didn’t crack in the mail speaks volumes as to its quality. Sometimes if eyeshadow is too brittle or inferior quality, it tends to crack during shipping (or it’s just not packed well). These colors are nicely pigmented and you do feel a little “extra” special using this. CT products are cruelty free as well. Want monthly beauty giveaways, more fashion, skincare and beauty reviews? I purchased this eyeshadow palette over a month ago, and it has quickly become my go-to choice. The range of beautiful brown shades is perfect for any look, whether it's for everyday wear or a special event. The pigmentation is fantastic, and the shadows blend effortlessly. They stay put throughout the day, without creasing or fading. The best part? The packaging is sleek and travel-friendly, complete with a handy mirror for quick touch-ups on the go.In summary, this eyeshadow palette is a must-have. Its versatility, color payoff, and convenient, travel-friendly design make it an absolute gem in my makeup collection.

I was super excited for this palette. I have a lot of eye shadow, so this was not a need as much as it was a want. When I saw the palette, my first thought was that it is TINY. Itty bitty. Travel sized. Fun sized. However you want to put it, this thing was mini. Pricey for a quad but even more spendy when it’s a teeny tiny quad. The eye shadows looked pretty but they simply blended away to nothing. I did not find them to be buildable. Only three out of four colors were usable. The fourth was just sheer glitter and it’s the kind that just ends up under your eyes like you are a day later on a walk of shame. For the shadows that did work, they came off kind of orange. Overall, big disappointment and it got shipped back to Nordstrom the same day I received it.

This review is specifically about the Exaggereyes quad. For me this is a HG eyeshadow product. Charlottes eyeshadow formula are so different from formulas I'm used to. It definitely is more about buildability and sheerness than it is about color payoff, so if you're expecting insane pigmentation you will be letdown.I'm nearing 40 and for my day to day I prefer something subtle that doesn't emphasize eye texture and this works great for my fair skin as the colors are sheer i can build them up if I'd like or leave them subtle if I prefer it. I do think deeper skin tones might have more difficulty getting the same effect though. It would be great if she had a few versions of exaggereyes for medium and deep complexions. This palette was my gateway Charlotte Tilbury ... MoreThis review is specifically about the Exaggereyes quad. I really wish this one worked out for me. I initially bought the Pillow talk quad, but it was way too warm and ended up looking bright orange. I exchanged it for the Exaggereyes, which looks much softer and pink in the photo online, but it also turned out bright coppery orange. I understand that shades will obviously look a bit different online than in person, but the way it's advertised is ridiculously deceptive. The shadows themselves are very pigmented, smooth, and easy to blend, which is why I'm sad it didn't work out. Minus 1 star for the packaging; for something branded as "luxury", the palette is cheap plastic that immediately gets covered in fingerprints. Minus another star for how different it actually ends up looking.
Charlotte has NOT disappointed with this pallet in Rebel. The colors are muted, which is everything I was looking for in a pallet. If you are looking for in-your-face drama, this is not the pallet you seek. The shades are gorgeous and glide and blend beautifully. Pricey...yes! I would rather pay the price and love what I will use often than to be disappointed. Even with these shades being muted, they make my brown eyes pop. Small enough to be carried in my purse or taken for travel. The one downside is the packaging is plastic; for the price, I would have liked it to be more significant. Overall, I think you will fall in love with this pallet. I know my eyes did!
The look is subtle. After a little trial and error I found that something on the eye to start - light moisturiser or primer was necessary to give this particular somewhat dusty formula something to stick to. The shades are close in colour to each other so don't expect great definition or shading possibilities - a heavier hand than usual is required. Good for a fresh easy to wear day time look. The overall look is a feminine, nude pink wash of colour with only very gentle shading possible. The "pop" rose gold shade appeared as a light wash of sparkle on my eye when applied with fingertips - no depth. Nice without the pop of sparkle for a go-to everyday look that is quick, easy to apply and fool-proof - perfect for the morning rush.
The first thing that struck me was just how tiny this product was. Absolutely minuscule amount of product for the £40 odd price tag. However I have never used any Charlotte T product before so was excited to try the eyeshadows. Long story short: they’re rubbish. Barely any pigment on the brush, and not a smooth application. If you’d have told me I was using a £3.99 palette I’d really have believed it. I kept thinking I must be doing something wrong (because eyeshadow is so complex!?) but nope, just a rubbish and ineffective product. I’ve been using Huda eyeshadows for the last few years- which are amazing, so maybe that’s why this brand felt such poor quality. Save your money. Or buy a Huda palette.
I tried to paint eye shadow before pasting it, which is much more natural than pasting eye shadow after pasting it first. It's super cost-effective. I checked it immediately after receiving it. I found that it's the same as the picture description. I like it very much. The seller's delivery is fast, the service is up to standard, the customer service attitude is very good and careful, and I will buy it next time. The eye shadow I follow is particularly suitable, and it does not affect the eye shadow color, Crazy grass planting, and the price of this double eyelid sticker is very cheap. The buyer's delivery speed is also very fast, and there is absolutely no problem for a better seller. My roommate's thick inner double can also completely solve the problem of home ... MoreI tried to paint eye shadow before pasting it, which is much more natural than pasting eye shadow after pasting it first. The quality in these palettes goes from fab to drab, depending on which one you choose. The formula ranges from 10/10 like in the Desert Haze palette, to awful, like the Walk of No Shame palette. If you are a die hard matte fan, I would look elsewhere, however if you want a range of looks that can all fit in a drawer, dont need a lot of transition shades (which I do, as I have HUGE eye lid space) and like a "middle of the road" shimmer, then this might be a good place to start. If you have a deeper skin tone, I dont think these are that great either. Its almost as though CT made all her products to simply suit her own fair skin tone and look, with little thought given to how they would perform on deeper or even, warm skin tones. The company has clearly tried recently to scramble to some form of inclusivity with its latest offerings, but alas, I'm still not impressed. Weak pigmentations still reign supreme. I have 10 of these so I have a bit of experience with them. The size and portability is by far their best feature, they are indeed delightfully cute, however, there are better formulas out there, for a similar price, such as ABH or Vieve.
