I have wanted a Chasseur French Oven for a long time but was worried it might be quite heavy - especially with 6L of casserole in it :)But I was really surprised how light and easy to use it is. I have a smaller one in another brand and find it chunky and the depth of it makes it clumsy to stir everything as I am not very tall.The Chasseur is more wide and squat and I have had no problems using it at all.Peters of Kensington price was such good value, I looked at Chasseur on other sites as they seemed to be on sale everywhere but I got the best price from Peters and there delivery times are always the quickest.

It was a gift and what an awesome gift. Really great for stews and the like. Great quality. Very happy with it.
Wonderful product, I had one and purchased a smaller version for my daughter and she is thrilled with it. They make fantastic stove top oven like cookers. clean easily and look great
Its a little heavy, but i love cooking with it. You just need a little flame and the pot does the rest.
