This baby carrier helped me a lot with my first baby. It was easier to just take her with me when walking g down some where or taking the public transport. Though sometimes it could be very uncomfortable because you usually have to readjust the strap. It is not good for certain age and I had to resort then to the pram.

Many carriers just swallowed him up, or his head would flop around in them. This Chicco carrier was secure, and we liked the burp cloth that protects parents clothes. However, it is difficult to picture a larger baby being comfortable in this, and after only about 15 minutes of wear, I found that it was straining my back. Bottom line, this is a good option for smaller babies, but not especially comfy for grown ups or larger babies. We returned this one.

Bought this for my newborn and as soon as she was big enough, as per the recommended weight, tried it out. I dont know if the carrier was simply too big for me or just plain bad design but I couldn't get it to adjust to either of us tight enough. She did not fit snug or securely as advertised in the graphic on the packaging. Instead, she was hanging back as though she was in a hammock and I could barely move without feeling as though she may slip out head first.Thinking I may just have it on wrong I left it on for some time and tried to find a video or something to see how to wear it properly. Do not buy
28 July 2021

This infant carrier doesn’t have a waist belt so all of the weight is then put on your back and shoulders. I would not recommend this carrier especially for kids as they get older. My 10 lb infant put a lot of stress on my shoulders while carrying this pack. I will be buying a different one. Very disappointed with the design.

Dont buy it
12 July 2018

This was given as a gift. The first time I used it, I felt like there was something missing. Very uncomfortable and feels like theres not much support. The baby just hangs. My husband tried and and he felt the same. His back would hurt. And when I tried using it, I was so tired of giving my baby support so I stopped carrying him with the carrier and just let him hang. After 30 mins his legs had small red spots. I guess because there was no circulation. I dont know why they even thought of making this carrier. We had to buy another one. Not worth the back pain and the red spots.

Fits Perfectly for my husband but awkwardly for me
10 March 2014

My husband absolutely loves this product. If it were up to him, we would probably give this product a 10. It fits great for him and he uses it all of the time to carry our son around. However, for me, it sits very awkwardly and I don't quite feel like he's supported very well. I always think he is about to fall out. I checked several different times to make sure the straps and everything is adjusted appropriately and it seems to be. I just don't feel as though it sits right on my body frame. However, I definitely felt as though this product is made very well. It definitely is durable and seems to hold up very well to regular wear. I also like the material that it is made from. It is a material that does not stain very easily and you can wipe clean without too much ... MoreMy husband absolutely loves this product. Good and affordable but not for the long run
31 May 2023

A family member bought this for me and we have used it a fair few times since bubs birth. Works well and bubs was very comfortable in it but I have noticed that as she got up to 8+kg that the style of this wasn't very supportive on the parents as all the weight is carried on the shoulders and neck as there is no waist strap. So overall it works great for the little ones but not as much in the longer run.

Not for newborns
15 July 2019

I love Chicco products so I’m disappointed I don’t like this, like at all. I find it to be very rough (shoulder pads)- wish they were the same material as the baby insert. I’m small and I felt like my baby was killing my back and I was only trying it on. I don’t find this to be fitting for infants. My baby is 11lbs and he flopped around (his head) with all the straps being as tight as possible. There’s no head support at all. Too much room at top for the baby to bop and flop all over. Also my baby’s nose was pressed against the side as he flopped over to one side. I will be returning this.

So uncomfortable for my little one
27 February 2019

I put this in our baby shower list because we saw it at the store, tried it and it was easy to put on (compare to the other ones). However, our little one was born at 6 lbs and 7 oz so we had to wait until he was 8 lbs before he can wear it. He is 10 lbs now so we decided to give it a try. It's very easy to put on and comfortable to me as a mom, however, it is uncomfortable for my baby. When we put him on there I feel like I have to support him with both of my hands in order to protect his neck, it feels so unsafe and so we decided not to used it any longer. Very Useful
5 December 2013

I bought this baby carrier right after my first daughter was born last year. At the time, it was the only baby carrier available in the country I was living in, so I didn't have any other options to choose from! I was pleasantly surprised at how useful this carrier is to have! It is easy to use, the straps are very adjustable and can fit me (I am slim and petite) or my husband (he is a size XL) so that is wonderful. It's also adjustable to the size of the baby, my daughter has comfortably fit into it from newborn-1 year. It is made of durable material that is also easy to clean, I've never had it stain, rip, and can really find any signs of wear on it, but believe me, it's gotten LOTS of use over the last year. My only complaint is that the design really isn't the safest or healthiest for babies. Studies have shown that baby carrier designs such as this where their legs "dangle" can be harmful to a babies spine and hips. With that said, I simply have made a habit of supporting my daughters legs when I carry her in this and make sure her posture is correct. Next time, I will be investing in a more expensive carrier that is safer, but for a first time mom I have no regrets buying this Chicco baby carrier and think it's a very useful tool for moms (and dads!) to use. My husband is a big fan also, he prefers using this when we go out, rather than carrying her in his arms. He says it is "comfortable and the easiest way to carry her."SafetyNot the best for babies hips and posture.Parents' ComfortComfortable padded straps and good adjustments.Ease of UseOnce you get the hang of it, very simple to use.
