This baby carrier helped me a lot with my first baby. It was easier to just take her with me when walking g down some where or taking the public transport. Though sometimes it could be very uncomfortable because you usually have to readjust the strap. It is not good for certain age and I had to resort then to the pram.

Reviewed in the United States on 21 July 2015 We ordered several different carriers to try out and see which was most comfortable for me, my husband, and most importantly, baby. Baby did just fine in this carrier. It is quite small in relation to some other carriers, which we liked (baby was about 10-12 lbs when we tried this). Many carriers just swallowed him up, or his head would flop around in them. This Chicco carrier was secure, and we liked the burp cloth that protects parents clothes. However, it is difficult to picture a larger baby being comfortable in this, and after only about 15 minutes of wear, I found that it was straining my back. My husband was uncomfortable in it just putting it on, and he thought it was difficult to get baby in and out. The quality of materials is very good for the price, but like a lot of carriers, I can see baby getting pretty hot in this in warm weather. Bottom line, this is a good option for smaller babies, but not especially comfy for grown ups or larger babies. We returned this one.

Amazing little carrier, we first used it when on a stay cation and doing alot of walking with the little one in areas not suitable for a pram. The carrier meant we could face her inwards or outwards, which was perfect as she likes to have a look and be nosey but when she dosed off we were able to turn her around for the extra neck support. Love this product.

This was given as a gift. The first time I used it, I felt like there was something missing. Very uncomfortable and feels like theres not much support. The baby just hangs. My husband tried and and he felt the same. His back would hurt. And when I tried using it, I was so tired of giving my baby support so I stopped carrying him with the carrier and just let him hang. After 30 mins his legs had small red spots. I guess because there was no circulation. I dont know why they even thought of making this carrier. We had to buy another one. Not worth the back pain and the red spots.
My husband absolutely loves this product. If it were up to him, we would probably give this product a 10. It fits great for him and he uses it all of the time to carry our son around. However, for me, it sits very awkwardly and I don't quite feel like he's supported very well. I always think he is about to fall out. I checked several different times to make sure the straps and everything is adjusted appropriately and it seems to be. I just don't feel as though it sits right on my body frame. However, I definitely felt as though this product is made very well. It definitely is durable and seems to hold up very well to regular wear. I also like the material that it is made from. When I had my son I was pretty overwhelmed with wanting to hold my baby constantly and keep him close but sometimes other things needed to get done so I purchased this Chicco ultra soft baby carrier. The idea of a baby carrier was a lot more appealing then it turned out to be because I ended up using it only one time for about 5 minutes while I started some laundry. It was hard to figure out how to put it on. I think I actually spent more time trying to figure out how to use it then actually using it! When I finally had it on it was very awkwardly built. It wasn't very comfortable for me or my son. This thing also has a weight limit which my son exceeded after a week.Overall, I wouldn't really recommend this Chicco ultra soft baby carrier. It wasn't comfortable at all and I'm really iffy about it providing adequate support for babies.
This unfortunately did not work out for us. It is not very comfortable to wear, nor is it very supportive of baby’s head and neck. At first we just thought our son was too little when we first tried it (even tho he’s been in the 98th percentile for height and 75% for weight his whole life) but even at 3 months old this carrier doesn’t keep him in well. We have tightened and adjusted the straps but still nothing. Would not recommend
We got this from my registry and were very excited as it seems easy to use. We used it maybe a handful of times around the house when my son was 4 months old or less. As a newborn, his head was not secure enough in this carrier so we had to be careful to avoid moving too fast. The description of this item states it's for babies 75-25lbs. I have to assume this is a typo since my son is 20 lbs and I already don't think it's safe for him to be in there. My son is 7 months old now and about 20 lbs, we can't use this carrier anymore. It's disappointing to realize that it wasn't that safe for a newborn to be carried around in it and now when he's old enough, he's too big to fit safely. I guess we'll have to buy ANOTHER carrier.. grr
I think this is a great carrier. It is sturdy and easy to use. It is not difficult to get the baby in and out of, and is comfortable for both the baby and the parent/wearer. The carrier feels durable and I do not have to worry about the straps or something else breaking while wearing it.I like the way baby fits in it, I can have her close and snug without worrying about her and there's enough room that she doesn't feel too confined and uncomfortable. I think the padding in the backing is thick enough to provide protection against wind while there's enough space in the arm and leg holes to provide air flow when it's warm.If there was one thing I would change I would like the backing to be a little higher to help give a little more support to baby's head and neck, ... MoreI think this is a great carrier. Apart from that one thing I have no complaints and am very happy with this carrier.
I bought this baby carrier right after my first daughter was born last year. At the time, it was the only baby carrier available in the country I was living in, so I didn't have any other options to choose from! I was pleasantly surprised at how useful this carrier is to have! It is easy to use, the straps are very adjustable and can fit me (I am slim and petite) or my husband (he is a size XL) so that is wonderful. It's also adjustable to the size of the baby, my daughter has comfortably fit into it from newborn-1 year. It is made of durable material that is also easy to clean, I've never had it stain, rip, and can really find any signs of wear on it, but believe me, it's gotten LOTS of use over the last year. My only complaint is that the design really isn't the safest or healthiest for babies. Studies have shown that baby carrier designs such as this where their legs "dangle" can be harmful to a babies spine and hips. With that said, I simply have made a habit of supporting my daughters legs when I carry her in this and make sure her posture is correct. Next time, I will be investing in a more expensive carrier that is safer, but for a first time mom I have no regrets buying this Chicco baby carrier and think it's a very useful tool for moms (and dads!) to use. My husband is a big fan also, he prefers using this when we go out, rather than carrying her in his arms. He says it is "comfortable and the easiest way to carry her."SafetyNot the best for babies hips and posture.Parents' ComfortComfortable padded straps and good adjustments.Ease of UseOnce you get the hang of it, very simple to use.
