Thereās nothing quite like a colour touch up to make you feel a little more refreshed and energised! The product was super easy to use and everything needed was contained in one compact box. I followed the directions with ease and all progressed to plan. The end result was reasonably true to the desired colour although my hair did end up more orange than I had anticipated. I accept this can happen with hair colours because there are so many factors that contribute to the end result. The hair colour did address my primary concern - covering the dreaded greys! The smell was not offensive as can happen with some brands and I liked the fuss free application process. [This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] I received this hair dye to trial as part of the Beauty Review Crew. I have used this brand of hair dye a few times over the past couple years. In particular, I have used the shade 'Darkest brown' which is the same shade I'm trialing today. The shade has always been is a lovely vibrant colour and the colour result is similar to my natural hair colour. The dye promises to 100% grey hair coverage and it lives up to its promise. Preparing the dye for application is nice and easy. After applying the gloves that are included in the packaging, you pour the colour formula into the bottle of developer before placing the lid back on and shaking the bottle until completely mixed. It's that easy! Then starting at the roots, you evenly apply the dye. The dye goes on smoothly and, surprisingly, the dye scent isn't as strong as other brands. Other brands tend to have a strong chemical smell which makes my eyes water and nose tingle when breathing it in. Clairol have done a great job at producing a hair product with a low scent. One of the best things about Clairol's nice n' easy hair dyes is the short processing times. Unlike other brands that have a processing time of upwards to an hour to reach your desired shade, these dye have an average processing time of just 25 minutes. The short processing time means you can dye your hair during your lunch break, before a night out, or before a date, without it taking up too much of your time. The rinsing process is also quite a smooth and easy process. After applying some warm water, give your hear/head a little massage and then rinse until the water runs clear from all the dye. It normally takes around two minutes for the water to run clear. Then using the conditioning Clairol conditioning treatment that comes with the hair dye, you apply from roots to tips and leave for a couple minutes before rinsing. The conditioning treatment has a lovely scent and is nice and thick. It's almost like applying a luxurious hair mask. It glides onto the hair smoothly and evenly. After rinsing the conditioning treatment you can instantly feel how hydrated you hair feels. Dying your hair often dehydrates it and your hair can feel a little worse for wear. Clairol's hair dyes are gentle on your hair and the conditioning treatment prevents damage and keeps your hair hydrated and feeling lovely. After towel-drying my hair, I blow-dried my hair until was dry. Looking in the mirror you could instantly see how vibrant and lovely the hair colour result was, and it looked and felt really healthy. I am always so very impressed with the results every time and I often get compliments from friends and family members. As my hair grows fairly quickly, I use this product every 2-3 months to help cover grey hairs. Despite dying my hair so regularly, my hair has remained healthy and manageable, and hasn't compromised my hair in any way. The only downside I can mention is that the dye stains your skin. Normally hair spray or acetone on a cotton ball or cotton pad helps remove hair dyes from skin but I found this dye to be lot stronger and barely budged from the skin. I also tried scrubbing with soap and dishwashing detergent but the dye only faded slightly. It took a few days of scubbing before the dye faded completely. The best thing of all about Clairol's Nice n' Easy hair dyes are they cost just $9 from your local supermarket. Sometimes, you can grab them on special for just $6! SIX BUCKS! Now that's what you call a bargain! Why pay $200+ t an expensive hairdresser when you can get almost the same results for just $9.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] I received Medium Chestnut Brown as part of the review crew. My hair is dyed medium brown over grey/white and is a few inches below my collarbones. Itās fine and flat with a slight wave immediately after air drying but this falls out quickly, itās also horribly frizzy. I found the instructions easy to follow and the dye easy to use although I did find Iād missed some areas which is unusual for me. I was using this on about 1 inch of grey roots, apart from where Iād missed it covered it well although itās lighter on those grey areas and the other areas are now darker. This means my roots are still visible although not grey and it would be good if the colour guide also showed the outcome on grey or white hair. I donāt usually see the roots so evident with other home colour Iāve done. However the colour on the roots is nice and I might keep using this to get all my hair to a lighter colour. I didnāt notice that the smell was better or worse than other brands Iāve used and I had no adverse reaction on my scalp. I wasnāt able to see a blend of tones and highlights although I did like the colour on both the grey and dyed areas. My hair felt soft after using and easy to comb. After a few further washes Iāve not see much fade or loss of condition. Overall this Is a good dye for home colouring with good grey coverage although I feel I need to be more attentive when I use it. Itās a good price too.

0 stars if I could.!!! (Chemical burns and hair falling out). I normally get my hair colored professionally but did not have time so I had to get box color. This was my first time using this product. It left me with chemical burns and my hair was FALLING out in CLUMPS..! I used it exactly as the directions said and had it on for the directed amount of time. Iām sending images to corporate because my hair is still falling out. I have NEVER had a sensitivity or chemical reaction to any product before. I dont have any previous allergies as well to any product and my hair is full and healthy. This is uncalled for and should not be happening to anyone with any hair type.
What I want is a natural looking darkish brown, to match my original colour as best as I can . I have been semi reluctantly using 5 (medium Brown), for over 10 years, because your product cares for my hair and does exactly what it claims. I have also tried some of your other colours in the brunette range. Sadly though, it has always been too "orange". If you have recently introduced light ASH brown, why can you not, do the same for brown? eg "Medium Ash Brown". Thus eliminating the brassy look which the (5 Medium Brown) colour, obviously slightly fades to in the sun?The only possible alternative is 4.11 Ultra Ash brown by L'oreal. I don't want to change product because I am a loyal customer and have appreciated the condition my hair is in, after using nice'n easy ...Ā MoreWhat I want is a natural looking darkish brown, to match my original colour as best as I can . Hello. I usually have bought nice and easy in the cheaper box? I decided to try the one that was slightly more I am extremely disappointed! The mixture is so thin and it drips into sides of face and down the back of my neck! Also, the gloves are ridiculous as far as even fitting. They flipped all over and slid around and I ended up with color all over my wrists! What a mess! I have used the cheaper nice and easy and never had a problem. Last couple of times I have used Schwartzkopf keratin color. No issues with that but I decided to try the more expensive nice and easy for the first time. I used 2BB blue black. I'm so disappointed with how thin and messy it is and the cheap man size gloves. Won't make this mistake again. Sincerely Karen P.
In previous times, I have always liked using Clairol Nice ān Easy, usually with good grey coverage. However, I decided to try a new shade from them, SB2, Ultra Light Cool Summer Blonde. Not thinking it would be any different than others that I have tried. After the process, I noticed that my temple areas were not coloured, even though I worked them really well!! Upon looking over the box, at the very bottom at the back in the most tiniest print it readsā¦āShade is not recommended for use on gray hairā!!!I personally think those words SHOULD BE on the FRONT of the box, so that people know that this shade wonāt work on gray hairā¦like my temples!! I was disappointed with the results as it doesnāt even look like I dyed my hair!! I received this product complimentary from Clairol in exchange for my honest review. My hair color was red brown, but I was looking to tone the red down a bit. I was apprehensive if this color would have as much cover as I wanted. Personally,I prefer applying my color from a bowl & brush. I like to be sure that the strands are fully and evenly saturated. It was easy to mix ,however the consistency is a bit thin for brush application. I did get some on my clothes and immediately cleaned it off.No discoloration or stains were left behind thankfully. Just be mindful of your application if handling by brush & bowl instead of the bottle method.Being sensitive to scents and suffering with allergies I did not find this to be bothersome in any way.The scent is subtle and ...Ā MoreI received this product complimentary from Clairol in exchange for my honest review. I followed the processing instructions and applied the conditioner after the coloring was finished. The Nice N Easy did not leave my hair, feeling dry or damaged afterward. I like that you are given extra conditioner to protect and keep your color fresh. I colored my hair on Dec 21, 2022 and five weeks later it is still looking good. A great match to my natural hair color.Hard for me to detect where my haircolor begins and where the Nice N Easy ends. The haircolor adds dimension, highlights and shine. I would certainly use this product again and happily recommend it. Thank you Clairol.
When I read 'Blend of 3 Tones %26 High-lights' I was super sceptical as I have been coloring my own hair, successfully, for the better part of 50 years and that is not easily achieved, if at all.
