I ordered (online) 8 balls of white cleckheaton country. The 8 balls that arrived had 4 different dye lots! The colours varied from white/grey to cream. I was not able to use them in my garment.

The product is really good. One problem is that the online description has a colour name, and no colour code or dye lot, while the product has no colour name, makes it hard to ensure they are the same. Luckily I got what I needed.
Can't get the tension they give on the ball, knits more like aran. If you use smaller needles, the tension is too tight. I returned the unused balls for a refund.
I love the colour range in the Country 8-ply, and the fact that it is 100% pure new wool. I am enjoying knitting this wool, but given the recommendation for it to be knitted on 3.25 / 4mm needles I am finding the finished product rather dense. The tension is okay, and this garment is to be gifted, but I will give it a wash in wool wash before giving it, hoping it will soften up a little. Care needs to be taken not to split the wool, as it is very obvious when it does occur, and I have needed to knit back a couple of times to rectify this. None of the above would stop me using this brand, and in fact I have another couple of garments already planned for Cleckheaton Country 8ply wool. Dissappointed that wool different shades from same dye lot. I didn't realise until garmet almost completed.
My order was delivered efficiently and quickly. The correct wool was delivered however when filling an order for wool I received balls of wool which had two different dye lots. You should ensure that it is all one dye lot not two different dye lots as this may affect the finished garment’s colour consistency.
The colour was quite different from what it looks like online. The product cost 50% more than in other shops.
