Clinique ID Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ 115ml

I have dry facial skin, in the summer the situation improves a little, and then I proudly write "prone to dryness", but sometimes there are peelings, in the cold season they are my constant companions. Therefore, in warm weather, I prefer the lightest moisturizers in consistency, and in winter I pay attention to dense, fatty nourishing creams and oils. Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion + has a very economical consumption, the volume that is shown on the spoons on top is enough for me for 2 times, in my opinion there are 2-3 pumps of the dispenser, because, taking into account the serum light texture, it is amazingly distributed over the skin, but, of course, because of the film-forming substances, it is poorly absorbed. Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion + has a very economical consumption, the volume that is shown on the spoons on top is enough for me for 2 times, in my opinion there are 2-3 pumps of the dispenser, because, taking into account the serum light texture, it is amazingly distributed over the skin, but, of course, because of the film-forming substances, it is poorly absorbed. After 5-10 minutes after application, it is felt that part of the lotion lay on the surface of the skin, but not as a light serum, but as a denser layer of cream, which for the most part is absorbed only after a while. I also noticed that the Clinique product leaves a light pearlescent shade, which gives the skin the promised fresh and healthy look. In fact, it is not very noticeable, it does not have a pronounced shimmer, it looks natural, so no one will be strained.

I’ve been using this moisturizer for few years. I consider it more along the lines of a slightly richer “emulsion”, for those of you who are familiar with Japanese/Korean beauty routines. What is standout about this moisturizer is it’s absorption. It doesn’t sit on top of your skin. I have dry, combination skin and I put it on after softener. It really does keep your skin moisturized and it’s very lightweight. You don’t need much and it’s fragrance free, and hypoallergenic-as I have sensitive skin and can react very badly to fragrance. It’s also amazing for thinning out your foundation and getting it to absorb into your skin to look more like a no make-up make-up look. I don’t find foundations moisturizing even when they say they are, and mixing it with the Clinique helps with that plus it gives you a very natural application. If you have a face powder and need a quick foundation, mixing this moisturizer with a bit of powder gives you a really nice moisturizing sheer cover. It’s an amazing makeup remover, I’ve used it to take off my eye makeup when I’ve run out of remover, and I like it because it leaves the skin moist. So, I can’t say enough good things. It has stood the test of time for me and I use different and heavier moisturizers and creams but I always use this as an emulsion in my routine.

I have enlarged pores and uneven skin texture, so I chose the blue concentrate. The moisturizing gel is designed for oily as well as combination skin prone to oily skin. It is a white-yellow translucent mass, more like a lotion in consistency than a gel. The product is easy to spread, leaves no greasy residue or stickiness, and is quickly absorbed. The concentrate, like its package, is blue in color, liquid, like water, and transparent. It has a slight sour odor, absorbs quickly and tingles slightly in places with post-acne or scratches. RESULT I was right in the choice of foundation, and that is half the battle, because even in winter and in the dry air of a heated apartment I had enough moisture for my skin. But more than that, I was 100% right about the concentrate, which had an effect I could see in a short time after application. I apply the cream daily 2 times a day on a cleansed face without preliminary application of toner, essence, emulsion, etc

This moisturizer is very good and when I used it I had amazing results with it, however it is gonna depend on your skin type and skin need at the moment of use! When I used this product I was going through major skin issue with overly dry skin, my skin barrier was damaged and not doing well! I had break outs and just dried out from a face wash that had damaged my skin and it left me super dry and my skin cracking, peeling and red. I started using this moisturizer by Clinique and it transformed my skin very quickly and it really helped to restore a lot of the damage and pain I was experiencing from the face wash that had damaged my barrier. I have been using this for year and something has changed

I've been using the Clinique face wash, toner and moisturizer for year and something has changed. It's always worked well for me, kept me from breaking out, it made me feel refreshed and moisturized but not greasy. This last full size kit I purchased I noticed something has changed with the lotion. It used to absorb really well, felt plumping even, and it didn't leave behind any greasy/still wet feeling. When I use this last bottle it just won't absorb no matter how long I leave it on for. It could be hours later and if I touch my face and I can literally feel how slick it still is. It's really disappointing these days to see products that have been holy grails turn into subpar products while still increasing their prices due to inflation. I have been using this product for about a week and i'm already in love. I have very sensitive skin and severe eczema and this gently moisturizers my skin without burning or drying out my skin. Previously, I used La Roche Posay dry skin moisturizer (no hate on the brand as i still use their face wash) before trying this and my skin would always dry out minutes after applying. I was recommended this product from a coworker after complaining about a severe eczema breakout on my face. My face was so dry and flaky around my eyes, cheeks, and mouth that i was embarrassed to be out in public. My new favorite moisturizer!!

I have really dry skin and have been looking for a new lightweight cream moisturizer to the replace the one in my routine. My mom said she’s been using this one since the 80’s(!!) and we have similar skin, so I figured if it worked for her, it’ll work for me. And it does! I only need one pump and it glides across my whole face (after serum and essence) with a little left over for my neck. Absorbs really nicely and leaves my skin plump and soft the next day.I feel like the people saying it’s greasy aren’t aware that if you have *truly* dry skin, it’s good to have an occlusive lipid layer on top of the skin that doesn’t absorb right away in order to help retain moisture. If it really leaves your skin feeling oily, you may have dehydrated skin that needs hydration rather than moisturizing (even though the terms are used interchangeably.) I wouldn’t recommend this moisturizer to anyone who doesn’t have truly dry skin, because if your skin is merely dry in the winter due to humidity changes, you need hydration from things like hyaluronic acid. THIS however works for dry skin which lacks oil. Hope that helps!!

Too heavy, doesn't want to roll on skin

I bought this lotion because I saw many good reviews and someone recommended it to me. I guess, like everything else, it isn't for everyone.The product texture is on the heavy side, it doesn't want to roll across your skin unless you try dragging your hands on your face (I try to avoid it because I don't want to stretch my skin specially around the eyes). For this reason I have to use more. It takes a long time to dry, which can be fine if you only use it to sleep but if you try to use it during the day, you will want to put some power on top because your face will be shiny all day. I think that it has also contributed to my makeup getting greasy faster (but not sure I haven't put makeup on without moisturizing first).I don't really mind the smell personally but ... MoreI bought this lotion because I saw many good reviews and someone recommended it to me. Very nice lotion

I am 54 years old and this has been a nice lotion to use on my face. I loved it even more when Clinique created the ID line to enhance the Dramatically different line. The moisturizing lotion is very hydrating but as I've gotten older and started developing some lines and wrinkles, it really doesn't do much to firm the skin, but it does hydrate nicely. I have tried Clinique's serums and wrinkle correcting creams, but they are so harsh and strong on my face, so when they came out with the ID line for lines and wrinkles I was very happy to try it and pleasantly surprised how wonderful it worked. It did not irritate my skin and I could visibly see a very noticeable reduction in the lines and wrinkles on my face. It was a total game changer and I just loved it! Clinique also discontinued the Smart Night Custom Repair Cream which was very gentle on my skin . What are you doing Clinique? Why are you discontinuing products that actually work??? Please bring back the ID line for lines and wrinkles. It is such a wonderful product that is gentle and works. Not everybody can use your new recently launched Smart Clinical line. I have used Clinique for over 25 years and I have always been happy to try your new products, but this new Smart line in the purple containers are way to harsh. I am so disappointed that you discontinued the ID line for lines and wrinkles.Please consider bringing it back again.
