Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ I have tried the Clinique 1,2,3 Steps at night for the past 2 nights. I waited til I had a couple of breakouts because I wanted to see how it did for that too. So far all 3 of the steps are doing great for me. Although I don't like the way my face feels after using the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+. I was excited because I love the last part putting the moisturizer on because I like to have it shiny,glow, and feel soft and look soft too. After I use it it makes my face oily feeling. I don't like oily feeling because my skin is a combination. It goes from dry to oily. So not trying to make my face more oily then what it does itself. So Im not big on this one at all. Good product but rude salespeople in Ringwood

Product is good and at reasonable price. But the salespeople in Ringwood are so rude. They were chatting behind the counter after a few minutes waiting for them, they finally noticed us and after we repeated several times by saying we want the 125ML lotion, they don’t bother to come around but only said rudely with the attitude :” can you just hold it up ?” Like we were someone interrupting them and our English are too poor for them to understand. My wife and I felt insulted, and asked why couldn’t them to come around to take a look. One of the sales said because they don’t want to catch the cold from my wife( since she was wearing a mask. Excuse me? How could someone be so judgmental before they even know whether my wife got cold or only wear the mask for ... MoreProduct is good and at reasonable price. I damaged my skin barrier recently by introducing too many actives + chemical exfoliant at the same time I was adapting to retinoids. Like many here, I used Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion throughout my 20s and 30s as part of the 3-step system. Although I found the moisturizer to be a bit heavy for my oily, young skin I stuck with it until Clinique began to introduce oil free moisturizers (i.e., one in a green glass bottle). Now, three decades later, my skin produces less oil, and given the recent flakes and irritation caused by me, I thought I'd return to my roots. This stuff is lovely. It really is, and I now understand its cult status. It isn't dramatically different

I don't dislike this product, it does what it claims, and lasts forever, but I don't feel it has made any significant change in my skin nor is it any better than other products i've used in the past, and doesn't moisture enough for the cold in my opinion. Its not bad but nothing you would rave about or be impressed by. Terrible allergic reaction

I previously used this lotion for many years, but stopped due to the cost a few years ago. I decided to try it again because I had always liked it, but it gave me the WORST allergic reaction on this go-around. Maybe they changed the formula?? The first time I had a reaction, I couldn’t tell if it was the lotion or a face wash I was trying. The burning and itching was so terrible, but I assumed it was the face wash since I had used this lotion before. The second time, I applied the lotion to my face at night and woke up in the middle of the night (like 4am) with intense itching all over my face, neck and decollete where I had used the lotion and no other products. The powder fixed the greasy part and it sat great on my skin.Now for the mixed bag part. First, liquid foundations. They hate this stuff. It’s hell getting it to blend. It’s made every liquid foundation I’ve tried pill like crazy. It only plays well with mattifying mineral sunscreens.The other thing: this is NOT suitable for dry climates!!! I cannot say this enough. It uses oils and hyaluronic acid — great in humid places. But if it’s even moderately dry, this will suck you even dryer, because there’s no water in the air to suck! It is a moisture vampire. Spritzing your face with water before and after helps some, but not a lot.If you’re in a dry climate, I recommend the moisture surge line. Both my mother and I switched when she moved to the desert. The aloe gives the HA enough water to work with for moderately dry places. On really dry summer or cold dry winter days, I also spritz with water with it.
