It is great product.Pros:1. Very sturdy. Good Handle.2. Wind protection flaps are great.3. Flames/ heating is brilliant.4. Self igniter works well.5. Griddle with the 3 flames is perfect.Cons:1. The flame is ONLY on HIGH. You cannot control it, the knob is a knob2. The lid lock is very flimsyWe got the bag (add-on buy) which was very helpful and protects the stove and easy to carry. As an after thought - after having seen a mate using the Fyrenight I would go for that (grass is greener) coz - Form factor is smaller, no wind flaps but yet does the trick (exactly the same mine), better carry handle, lid lock is a buckle and lastly it looks cooler. The flame control is still absolutely useless in fyrenight as well.

Definitely disapointed

I purchased this on sale for approx $220. I believe this is an okay price for this Burner. I would have been EXTREMELY upset had i have purchased this for full price ($399). I believe it is one of the better burners on the market however the lid does not stay shut when trying to carry the burner. It just pops open and everything falls out. I took my original purchase back to be replaced however the replacement also does the same thing. I have had to put a rope around the burner when it is shut to ensure it does not pop open when I am carrying it.I did a lot of research before purchasing and this one appeared to be one of the best. I guess they just don't make them like they used to.

Fails to meet expectations on every level.

Really seems like a well thought out stove. Included griddle, good burner layout, electric start... But the negative reviews are pretty bang on.Like several other reviews, I will state that temperature control is next to non existent. The difference between blowing out and maximum is maybe 10% of the valve travel if I'm being very generous. It's effectively all or nothing. The griddle storage does require reading the manual, but even following the instructions and having lined everything up it only almost closes. The drip tray looks to lift the grate very slightly when stored and with the griddle as well, the latch barely catches and will release at the slightest shift. A clasp here would have been a much superior solution.Third strike was the electric start. I ... MoreReally seems like a well thought out stove. On one of the 3 burners. All of these issues seem like a combination of low quality parts, poor fabrication and general poor quality control. I really wanted to like this stove. It's a good size, promises good features. If all you want to do is boil water or burn your meal, it will probably work for you. I hoped for a bit more than that and was left disappointed. It gets 1 stars because it technically works, but I really should have brought my old stove with me...

I like the size and the flat grill, but certain parts appear to be made quite cheaply.
11 October 2022

I like the size and the flat grill, but certain parts appear to be made quite cheaply. The lid latch doesn't close very well and popped open while carrying it. Now, because the lid fell open, it is permanently bent back and even more difficult to close. The burner controllers are very difficult to control. It seems they are either full on or off. This makes it hard to cook over low heat when using the grill feature. So, if you are using it to cook full on, the size is nice.

Let down!
14 September 2022

I have had my eye on this for a while, and when my old Coleman died and it was on sale I finally did it. I had such high hopes, I did read the reviews and sadly they were right..The burners do not go low, you can turn it pretty low - but it turns itself back up when you let the knob go..The griddle was great, even pretty hot on the lowest it can go. Another problem is the latch on the grill will not close with the griddle stored in it, the instructions state that it can be stored.I had to return it for those two reasons sadly, I really really wanted to like it and for it to work!

Missing part and Griddle won't fit
23 July 2022

I opened up my new stove, I got as a birthday 2 years ago, at the camp site and its missing a leg. I checked everywhere for it, there is a bag with 3 legs and 4 screws. I imagine the legs are needed for proper airflow and to prevent burning surfaces. Fortunately we had a single burner stove with us as well. Also, when I went to pack it back up, the lid cam nowhere near closing properly. Basically I had to store the griddle by itself.Durability looks good, but I can't really say as I can't use it in this condition.Really disappointing.

Poor Quality & poorly designed stove
21 December 2021

Terrible product, I returned it after one weekend camping. Where do I start.Nothing looks or feels like quality. The knobs are all a bit crooked straight out of the box. The button to open it & keep it closed will not last very long. The lid for a battery to power the igniter fits poorly & the thread to crew it on is misaligned & has no option cross other than cross threading the first time you do it up.I guess if the battery goes flat & you don’t have a spare you can’t light it without another source. A manual piezo is much better in that regard.Chews the gas if using the canisters which I did. Would work out expensive for a week. The burner adjustment is the worst part of all. Has a horrible feel, you try to turn down lower but it either goes out or keeps bouncing back to the minimum setting which is way too high. You can’t turn down the heat enough not to burn everything on the plate. Then when you’re finished with the plate & need to boil water you have to wait until it cools to remove it as it has no handles. On the other hand I could not get water to boil is slight wind no matter which way I faced the stove. All in all I was very disappointed considering the fairly good reviews out there. Poor design & even worse build quality. You will be throwing it away in a few years. But maybe that’s what they want?People can’t know any better. I guess I’ve been spoilt with a 40 year old Primus good design & quality. I have struggled to get decent spare parts for it and retired it.Looks like I’m better off trying again to find parts or someone to do some work on it.

Poorly made
15 September 2022

Zero stars. Purchased in January, first used in June, failed in September. Only used on a table inside my house while my kitchen was under construction. While unscrewing the propane regulator pipe from the stove, the stove side connection broke and just spins around. Now the regulator can't be removed from the stove, and it leaks propane massively. The lid latch has never worked, and can't be adjusted. I had to hold the lid shut while carrying the stove. The stove flame knobs seem to have tension, so when you set your desired flame setting and let go, it slowly spins back, decreasing your flame. Also, the center burner can't be turned up enough to be useful, which is surprising because the side burners put out so much

Works great, but ...
5 April 2023

Bought this for outdoor cooking. Lifelong Coleman fan, this is a great stove (love the button-push lighting).Only two issues: 1) It is difficult to keep a lower flame setting, the controls are VERY touchy. 2) Bought the 1 lb to 20 lb adapter hose to hook up to my 20 lb propane tank, but no gas comes to the burners that way. Works great with the little 1 lb bottles. From reading other reviews it looks like I need an additional adapter to make the 20 lb adapter work.

Looks good, feels good, sets up good, options all good...but...It's a dud.Like almost everyone else the burners on mine have only two settings:1) Volcano - low setting2) Sun - high settingThat's it.No matter what the burners will not turn down to a normal cooking temperature. I though with use that it would "wear in" and become more adjustable but it never did. It's like brand new as it's only been used 10 or 12 times, just to boil water, and now it sits on the shelf in my garage. I would throw it out but I'm keeping it only as a backup for emergencies where the power goes out and there's a boil water advisory...because THAT is the one thing it does very well.I bought a cheap onsale Woods propane stove and while it looks only half as goods it has worked ... MoreLooks good, feels good, sets up good, options all good...but...It's a dud.Like almost everyone else the burners on mine have only two settings:1) Volcano - low setting2) Sun - high settingThat's it.No matter what the burners will not turn down to a normal cooking temperature.
