Definitely soothes the throat, and helps with the mild symptoms. Great combination of herbs and oils.
In NZ this used to be calledComvita Fortacold and it was and still is absolutely fantastic for the whole family for winter wellness. Try 1tsp in a cup of warm apple juice to overcome taste if that’s an issue. Truly it’s worth the taste though, my kids know this as “yucky medicine” but it does a great job.
I was introduced to bee propolis more than 40 years ago by a pharmacologist and later the Comvita bee propolis cough mixture by my sister who was living in NZL.I prefer natural products to drugs. Comvita is very effect especially when the bee propolis capsules are consumed together to increase effectiveness.I gave it to my 2 yrs old nephew whenever he suffered flu because his medication does not seems to have any effect on him. He always recovered faster with Comvita mixed in his Milo/chocolate drink to make it taste less like a medicine. By 5 years old he has less flu and now his immune system improved so much that he is almost without suffering from flu. A relative of mine was suffering from severe cough and she could not sleep for 3 months. It is very thick, which seems to be a benefit as it coats your throat. If you are sensitive to strong tastes, this might not be for you.it really did soothe my irritated throat far better than cough drops did.
