So well designed and fun to use, high value workout. Computer is simple but smart enough to connect to their app. App even has a pacer mode where you "race" a simulated boat moving the rate of your target time. Also can be synced to fitness apps such as Strava.Machine was recommended to me by a friend and two of my friends have bought one since.

This is a very well made device; looks and feels like it will last forever. I’m an old guy with chronic shoulder problems & although that was the reason for getting it, the Concept 2 is one of the best ways to exercise most of the musculoskeletal-skeletal system. It may be one of the best investments any older person can make.

I purchased a concept rower so I could build on my home gym and give going out to a gym a break. Having a back injury and numbness in my leg I wanted to slowly build on my rowing and carry on into running. Only weight lifting and doing high intensity workouts with my injuries, I have missed out on building speed and endurance for 2 years. Having this rower has helped me build on these skills and I'm back running and I feel great. The addition of a device holder and the Erg Concept app was a nice surprise. Each day the app has a new wod. You can bluetooth your workout from your app to your rower monitor to log your workouts in the app (and also join in on challenges if that's your thing!). Excellent quality. And heaps of fun. My 7 year old has also really enjoyed learning how to row and we now complete interval training together. Complete baseline testing and build your fitness off your results, or just have fun!

Great quality, worth stretching the budget for this top of the line machine! Added height with tall legs is great for people with previous injuries and easy to move around the house and put away when finished workout.Fantastic for rehab/home gym, Concept 2 is the best when it comes to air resistance rowers! Would highly recommend 👌
Read articles on best rowing machines which pointed to the concept 2 as being high on the list. It’s true to form. Well build, easy to set up and works very well. Has a convenient phone/tablet holder for use while working out. Well worth the money. Rebel delivered very quickly. Happy customer
Have used this rower for 40km now, It's really smooth and ultra durable as you'd expect from this brand, comes with the phone/tablet holder which is great and something ive been using every workout. The pm5 is easy to use, if not slightly on the simple side for todays standards. The two things that i dislike are - 1) the seat is quite firm. 2) the air system is quite noisy and i find it better to use headphones rather than a bluetooth speaker.Overall great smooth easy to operate machine which will last me many years
This item is considered a gold standard for a reason when it comes to rowing machine. I couldn't suggest it more. The construction is sturdy. It separates in the center (seat slide and row bar sections) for easy storage. I don't have high ceilings, that 96" is too long to just stand it up. Ultimately, it takes up slighty more floor space than a kitchen chair when storing it this way. The PM5 connects perfectly to my phone without issue and the ErgData app is great for tracking your progress. You can also use the a UBS drive to do the same tracking and with this there is no chance you accidentally leave it in the Rower at the gym. The question of whether it's a good value is highly subjective though. This is hands down the single most expensive piece of fitness ... The question of whether it's a good value is highly subjective though. This is hands down the single most expensive piece of fitness equipment I have ever purchased. But this is one of the best forms of exercise you can get, so for me it's worth it. But if you aren't sure you like rowing or looking for something new you haven't tried, it may be financially prudent to buy a cheap rower to start. I'm not personally a fan of spending a lot of money on something and having it become a clothing rack that sits in the corner. But if you know you will commit to using this rower on a regular basis, it's easy money to spend. I got into rowing maybe in the middle of 2019. It's physically demanding, it's easily trackable with this machine so you can see your progress in your distance or strokes per minute metrics, and it's basically no impact on your joints. But then came Covid19 and the gyms shut down for a good portion of the year. During the summer I walked every day and hiked quite a bit on weekend, but since winter has come my ability to stay fit has been greatly diminished. I tried using a rowing machine in the gym but the requirement to wear a mask really hurts it as exercise. Within a few minutes you are gulping for air as the mask completely obstructs your airway when doing anything that makes you breath heavy. So, I took the plunge, and after my first day of using my own Concept2 Rower, I knew I made the right decision. If you could buy it from the manufacturer you would probably save yourself about a third of the cost, but that isn't remotely an option now. I couldn't suggest it more so long as you actually commit to this form of exercise.
I have read a lot of reviews and it really holds into its reputation. The new ROWERG already come with a device holder, which on my case can fit an IPAD. The thing looks bulky but it is really compact. When I bought it, I bring my CAMRY and it fit on the back passenger seat. I just need to unbox on the loading bay of the rebelsports.Functionality is super smooth. Connection to ANT and Bluetooth is very fast. I used a Garmin FR935 for my Heartrate using ANT and it connect flawlessly. Only thing I notice is when I used the ERGDATA on IPAD and I will not exit the APPS the PM5 monitor will keep in the ON State. So inorder not to run out of battery on PM5 monitor, I always make sure that after using and sync data from my IPAD; I will exit the ERGDATA apps.Very happy ... It is solid construction, easy to assemble and the foot are really even/flat.
It is built solid with good level of resistance adjustments & effortlessly gliding seat. The PM5 monitor is very informative with a great range of standard & custom workout programs. Really appreciate the Logbook function with the mobile app. With proper maintenance, I can see this machine lasting many years. Not cheap but worth the money.
I’ve been rowing for years. I originally owned a water rower but needed a machine that came apart for storage. In our new house I couldn’t store it upright, so I gave it to my dad and bought this. The water rower is great and I enjoyed using it for the 5 years I owned it.I used the concept2 in a heap of hotel gym’s when I use to travel so Ive had a lot of time on the machine over the years. Using it everyday its clear why this is the gold standard. The monitor is on another level compared to the water rower. It’s also more comfortable and I can do 10km without getting too sore. The build quality is excellent and you just know it’ll last years and years. It comes apart and takes up no space. It’s been brilliantly engineered and and it’s worth every cent. And it’s ... And it’s probably for that reason you see it in most gyms. The only downside is the noise, it is a loud machine. Not loud for me, I’ve got my headphones in and music up super loud so I can’t hear the machine…. But my wife can, at 6am. Sometimes it wakes her and that’s annoying. I row in our garage… our bedroom is right on top of it. In saying that, I don’t think any rower is particularly quiet.
