I like the ease of opening and closing the bottle. It allows me to keep working while opening or closing it in one touch. Very convenient and was easy to clean as well.

We love all Contigo water bottles. I have looked everywhere for larger insulated water bottle with a straw for my 7-year-old. I had to order this from Walmart, but I am very pleased with my purchase. It was just what I was looking for! The only con is that the bottle portion is not dishwasher safe.

I shopped for a metal water container that keeps fluid cold for 8-10 hours at a price below 20.00. There are some metal containers but their not insulated. Insulated containers at everywhere from Target to other major chains started at 18.00 and went up from there. This one is insulated for both hot and cold liquid, has a pop up self contained rubber draw system and is a decent size. All for 10.99. You won't find one better at a cheaper price.
These chill Contigo’s is as advertised, they keep your beverage cold till the last drop. The locking feature works great, also no issues of leaks. The wife likes the straw, i perfer the wide spout chug chill. We also wash these in the top rack dishwasher with no issues of rust or discoloration.
I have the 16oz Thermos brand that I really love but I was looking for something that held more. I like using a straw so I searched and found great reviews on the Contigo 20oz. It was not available in the store and had it shipped to my home free. I've been using it for a month and I love it. It keeps water cold for hours and the straw is great. The mouth of the straw is not round but kind of oval which makes drinking more flowing. Would definitely buy again

We drink a lot of 0 calorie carbonated water. Filled the bottle and went on our way. We were sitting at a table and my wife went to take a drink. Pushed the button and it looked like Old Faithful just went off. That drink went 6 feet in the air and drained half the bottle. 2 people got soaked, it was funny, but it wasn't over. You'd think with a eruption like that and half the contents gone you'd be safe....NO, it's still bubbling from the cap! This is my second but not the last one Contigo bottle. First was Sheffield Stainless Steel, next one will be or rather is Addison . Ashland is a modification of Sheffield wihich can be mostly seen in lid with lock preventing unintentional opening of the autospout and easy to attach to backpack handle. Ideal for general use but esspecialy during long car trips when you are thirsty and should not divert your sight from the road. This is what the autospout is for!!
In the fine print, NOT ON THE DESCRIPTION OF THE PRODUCT BUT IN THWE PAPER THAT CAME WITH IT, it says not suitable for carrying in a bag...why? cause it can leak in spite of the locking button. The button can obviously be pushed when in a bag, which will open the spout in your bag....... Since I was looking for a secure bottle that I can carry anywhere, in anything, this will not work. and it is deceptive to act like the locking button is secure when it is not...
I ordered two of these water bottles, one for me and one for my daughter. We both wanted a bottle with a straw spout. It is leak proof and she brings it to school in her backpack daily. The bottle keeps water ice cold all day long. The opening is large enough to easily fit ice cubes. It has handle that makes it easy for carrying or clipping onto a bag. The straw inside is removable for cleaning. I like having a water bottle to bring to work that I don't have to worry about accidentally knocking over(yes, I have done it before). I already had several Contigo mugs for coffee that my husband and I use constantly so I wasn't surprised that we love this bottle for cold drinks as well. I would definitely recommend the Contigo Autospout water bottle.
